Student answer (Band 6.0)

In recent decades, money plays an important in the lives of people. Saving money for future is beneficial for every individual, even including youngsters. I strongly agree with this given view which I will discuss in the forthcoming paragraphs.

To begin with, there are several reasons for explaining why money management is important. First and foremost, future is unpredictable anything can happen with us, retained money will help people to meet unforseen circumstances without depressing. For example, if any situation may take place in a person life, retained money will be used to meet any circumstances such as health issues and accidents. Additionally, young people should also know how to save money, as if they started saving money from an early age, they will eventually adopt this habbit which will not only beneficial for their presnt but also for their future.

Furthermore, retained money help businessmen for survival of their businesses in recession as if business is facing difficulties such as loss in business, reduction is sales and other so, businessman's retained money for their future will help in the survival of their business. Moreover, saved money is also beneficial for youngones, if they wants to go for a trip with their friends or they want to gift something to their parents, there will be no need to ask for money from their parents if they already have.

Although money management is essential part of life, if a person is just saving it for future by ignoring their presnt needs so, it will be not an good option, people must have to live and enjoy every moment without depressing for just future.

To conclude, I believe that saving money for future is important for everybody as it helps to meet unforseen consequences. Youngsters should also adopt this habbit, which is necessary for their future lives.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

Your position is clear from the introduction (“I strongly agree”) and remains consistent in the conclusion. You address the importance of saving for unexpected events, developing a habit from a young age, business difficulties, and personal goals such as travelling or buying gifts. These are relevant reasons, and the examples help explain your view. However, some points are less fully developed: the business example is broad and receives little explanation, while the paragraph about young people combines financial independence with leisure spending without showing how these support long-term security. To strengthen the response, explain the consequences of each example more precisely and consider the balance between saving and meeting present needs in greater depth. The response already has a clear, relevant argument, but some ideas need fuller support.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two supporting paragraphs, a qualification, and a conclusion. The progression from personal emergencies to business resilience and young people’s independence is generally understandable. Linking phrases such as “To begin with,” “Additionally,” and “Furthermore” help signal the stages of the argument. At times, however, connections feel mechanical, and several ideas are crowded into long sentences, making their relationships less clear. For instance, the sentence beginning “future is unpredictable” runs several points together, and the business example is difficult to follow. The contrast introduced by “Although” is useful, but it could be connected more explicitly to your overall agreement. Use clearer sentence boundaries and vary linking methods so the organisation feels more natural and the progression more consistently controlled.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “unpredictable,” “circumstances,” “recession,” and “survival,” and you attempt to express ideas beyond basic statements. However, the range is limited by repeated use of “money,” “future,” and “retained money,” and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unnatural. For example, “retained money” is not the usual expression for personal savings, while “without depressing” does not convey the intended meaning. Spelling errors such as “unforseen,” “habbit,” and “presnt” also reduce accuracy. Aim to use a more precise range of terms for saving, financial security, and unexpected costs, and check spelling carefully. More natural collocations would make your ideas easier to understand and show stronger control of vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “if they started saving money from an early age” and a concession beginning “Although.” This shows an effort to vary sentence forms. However, the complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction can make parts difficult to follow. Examples include “money plays an important in the lives,” “retained money help businessmen,” and “if they wants to go.” Some sentences also join several clauses without clear punctuation, particularly the opening of the first body paragraph. Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea at a time, then check subject–verb agreement and articles. Greater control of these patterns would make your varied structures clearer and more reliable.
