Student answer (Band 6.0)
In rapid developing world, saving money for the future purposes is paramount for everyone. Some people believe that retain currency would be beneficial to secure future. So, I firmly believe that it is crucial for people, including youth, to keep money for later stage of life. This essay will explore the valid reasons with an appropriate examples in the ensuing paragraphs.
The primary reason is that, its provides security. The paramount reason is that saved money would be available in an emergency situation. For instance, if people gets medical urgency, they can take money from their emergency funds. consequently, people would not be suffer from financial shortage, especially during medical urgency.
Furthermore, another significant reason is that people can live better retirement life. This is due to the fact that people would not be able to earn money in older age. To illustrates this, many old-aged citizens have not be dependent on others, if they saved money in their young age. As a result, senior citizens can live their retirement life without facing any hurdles.
In the contrary, many people disagree that saving money for the future is not as much important as investing in various things. The main reason behind it is that invested money will give the better amount of returns.
In conclusion, although investment of money gives higher amount of money in future, it is also crucial to secure money for future emergency and for better retirement life. Therefore, I firmly believe that preserve money helpful for the up coming life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you firmly support saving, and the conclusion restates that view while acknowledging investment as a counterargument. You address the main parts of the prompt with relevant reasons, especially emergency funds and retirement, and the medical example helps illustrate the first point. However, the counterargument that investment may produce better returns is introduced but not explained or answered in much detail. The retirement point is also asserted rather than supported with a specific example or explanation of how savings improve later life. To strengthen the response, develop each reason with a clearer chain of explanation and show more directly why saving remains important even when investing is possible.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate supporting paragraphs, a counterargument, and a conclusion. The progression from emergency security to retirement is logical, and signposts such as “Furthermore” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the argument. However, some linking is mechanical or awkward: “The primary reason” is repeated within the same paragraph, and “In the contrary” does not connect the opposing view naturally. The relationship between the investment point and your final position could also be made clearer. Use fewer formulaic transitions, vary how you refer back to ideas, and make the contrast explicit—for example, explain that investment can complement, rather than replace, accessible savings.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “paramount,” “emergency funds,” “financial shortage,” and “retirement life,” so the meaning is generally understandable. Some less common choices are not used naturally or precisely, however: “rapid developing world,” “retain currency,” “medical urgency,” and “better amount of returns” sound awkward or unclear. There is also repetition of “paramount” and “money,” which limits flexibility. Aim for natural collocations and precise wording rather than choosing formal-sounding terms that do not fit the context. For example, use “in today’s rapidly changing world,” “save money,” “medical emergency,” and “higher returns.” This would make the argument clearer and more fluent.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use both simple statements and attempts at complex sentences, including conditional and reason clauses such as “if people gets medical urgency” and “This is due to the fact that…”. The overall meaning can usually be followed, but some errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction remain. Examples include “its provides,” “people gets,” “would not be suffer,” and “To illustrates”; these should be “it provides,” “people get,” “would not suffer,” and “To illustrate.” The sentence about older citizens is also difficult to parse because its verb forms and clause structure do not fit together. Practise checking subject–verb agreement and keeping each sentence’s main clause complete, while continuing to use a mix of sentence patterns.
