Student answer (Band 5.0)

From the ancient time it is important for everyone, to save money for their future, money is a thing to lives their life peacefully in rest of the lifes, young people right now time they understand the importance saving of money morevre without money nothing you can buy of eat or any kind of life saving activity you can take place.

Sometimes young people only focus on the save money not other than that it's time i disagree with the importance of save money , you can save money for your future but enjoy your life at a present time and also follow your dream with this money for example in my relatives one man was their whole life only save the money always not even eat healthy food for him , his whole life passed in live tor only saving money and he thinks he will use this money for their future life at the end he was die but not live their life happily.

Also I believe save money is very important in our life for our future plans and future life living happily with family, now days all things becomes costly and in future also thing becomes costly so young thought about future and save money and also youngs focus on their dream for example i a a young people i believe to save money for my future life currently i am also save money when i get pocket money that time i save my money and when i need money for buy my clothes, and essentiak thing that time used my save money.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address the question and present a partly clear position: you recognise that saving supports future needs, while arguing that people should also enjoy the present and pursue their dreams. The example of your relative who saved throughout life but did not enjoy it is relevant and helps explain your disagreement with saving as an absolute priority. However, your position shifts: you first say “I disagree,” then conclude that saving is “very important,” without clearly stating how far you agree overall. The reasons are also only briefly developed, and the personal example about saving pocket money could be explained more fully. State a balanced position in the introduction and conclusion, then develop each reason with a clear explanation and example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some organisation: the response moves from an opening statement to a discussion of enjoying the present, then to the benefits of saving, and it includes examples. Paragraph breaks also help distinguish these points. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because the opening combines several ideas in one long sentence, and the position changes between paragraphs without a clear link. Connectors such as “Sometimes,” “Also,” and “for example” are used, but they do not always show the relationship between claims clearly. The final paragraph also combines general claims with a personal example and ends without a concluding summary. Use a clear introduction, separate body paragraphs for each main reason, and a short conclusion that restates your position.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

Your vocabulary covers the central topic, with repeated references to “save money,” “future,” “dream,” and “costly,” and you attempt some relevant expressions such as “healthy food” and “future plans.” However, the range is limited and repetition is noticeable, while several word choices or combinations make meaning difficult to understand, for example “money is a thing to lives their life peacefully” and “live tor only saving money.” There are also spelling errors, including “morevre” and “essentiak.” Aim to use more precise topic vocabulary and check spelling; for instance, distinguish between saving for “future expenses” and spending on “present needs.” The suggestions below offer alternatives for some repeated or unclear phrases.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to express connected and contrasting ideas, including with “but” and “when,” but sentence structures are mostly limited and many attempts at longer sentences are faulty. The opening is a run-on sentence, and errors in verb forms and sentence construction appear in phrases such as “young people right now time they understand” and “when i get pocket money that time i save my money.” Agreement and tense are also inconsistent, as in “all things becomes costly” and “he was die.” These errors frequently make the reader work to identify the intended meaning. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using subordinate clauses. Check subject–verb agreement, past-tense forms, articles, and punctuation when editing.
