Student answer (Band 6.0)
Today, money is the basic need for everyone whether he/she is young or old or even middle-aged. It would onle be possible if we use money wisely and also saves it for our future. I firmly agree with refered statement that everyone should be counted in their savings for its future including young people also.
Firstly, I will talk about the monthly expenses of the young persons. A specific amount is given to the youth for their educational and other necessities by the government. Sometimes they can save money if they have no extra need in that month. After a few months they can save a handsome amount. So, they can use it in any type of work or activity.
Secondly, if they have another talent and hobbies like online tasks or assignments they perform, they have channels or even if they are child stars, they are earning a good amount of money and can save it for their future.
Thirdly, young people go through the phase of learning. If parents treat them wisely and guide them about the worth of earning and savings, they can persuade them to save a huge amount for their adult and after-marriage life. It will not only help them in starting a new business when they are grown up and ready to earn in the real life fiull of hardships and difficulties but also they can persue any goal of their lives.
In short, I will say that money is gone in no time if we use it caressly without any plannings but it is too hard to earn it. It takes generation to earn and live a wealthy life. Savings for young community in the present century, is as essential as food to live or air to breathe.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction: you firmly agree that young people should save, and the conclusion reinforces this view. You address the topic with relevant reasons, including saving from allowances, earning through hobbies or online work, and learning financial habits from parents. These points support the task, but they are not equally developed. For example, the allowance point explains that savings can accumulate, yet does not show why this is important for a young person’s future; the business and adult-life benefits are also asserted rather than illustrated. The response therefore covers the question, while some support remains general. To strengthen it, explain one or two consequences in more depth and add a specific example of how savings could help later in life.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, three body paragraphs signposted by “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “Thirdly,” and a concluding paragraph. The ideas generally progress from personal savings to earning opportunities and parental guidance. This makes the argument easy to follow. However, the repeated ordinal transitions make the organisation somewhat mechanical, and some links between claims are not fully clear. For instance, the move from young people receiving money from the government to saving for “any type of work or activity” needs a more explicit explanation. The final paragraph also introduces broad claims about generations and wealth without connecting them closely to the earlier examples. Use a wider range of linking expressions and make the relationship between each reason and the central argument more explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “monthly expenses,” “necessities,” “adult life,” “business,” and “hardships and difficulties.” There are also attempts at more expressive phrasing, such as comparing savings with “food to live or air to breathe.” However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or awkward, which limits precision: “counted in their savings,” “extra need,” and “money is gone in no time” do not express the intended ideas naturally. Spelling and word-form errors such as “onle,” “refered,” “caressly,” and “plannings” are also noticeable. Aim for accurate, natural combinations such as “set aside money,” “unexpected expenses,” and “spend carelessly,” and check spelling and forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “if parents treat them wisely” and a longer sentence explaining how savings may support future goals. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence construction, agreement, and verb forms sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “It would onle be possible if we use money wisely” has an unclear reference and mismatched verb forms, while “they are earning a good amount of money and can save it” shifts awkwardly between forms. The sentence beginning “It will not only help them…” is also difficult to manage because its parallel structure breaks down. Practise building shorter, accurate sentences first, then combine ideas using controlled clauses and check subject–verb agreement and tense consistency.
