Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this contemporary era, it is often argued that it is very crucial for everyone including the young individuals and upcoming generation to make a habit to save money for the future. I completely concur that saving money is very important because it can be very needful for the upcoming welfare and in a emergency situation.
One of the key reasons to supports my view is carrier development. To detail it out, if the young one or older one saves money for the longer period so it can be very helpful for them to pay their further education masters or bachelors fees or they can sponsor their own startup which eventually will upgrade their future earning and development. Moreover, if the young individual learn a habit from a childhood to saves money. As a result, they will also learn the money management which is very necessary for their work life. One more key reason is investment. To elaborate this, humankind can also get goods return by putting the saving money in banks saving account or in FDs.
Another reason is emergency situation. To explain it further, its not our hand to predict the future so any emergency situation such as medical emergency occurs so to tackle the situation, the savings money is like a god for the family. Hence, this are the benefits and importance to save the money.
Despite some of the merits, there are some de-merits. To begin with, some of the peoples do not like to save money they use the money in shopping and travelling which is their hobby and they like pursue their hobbies.
Conclusively, although some of them do not like to save but like to spend on shopping and travelling. I believe saving money is friend indeed which help to tackle the emergency situation and help to pay for our education or our business.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction: you completely agree that saving is important, and the conclusion returns to this view. You give relevant reasons, including funding further education or a start-up, learning money management, earning returns through savings, and coping with medical emergencies. These points address the task and show some development, particularly the explanation of how savings can support education or a business. However, the discussion is uneven: the investment point is brief, and the paragraph about people who prefer shopping and travelling does not explain why this preference challenges the claim that everyone should save. To strengthen the response, develop that counterpoint and explain how it qualifies your position, while supporting each main reason with a clearer example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, paragraphs presenting reasons, a counterpoint, and a conclusion. The progression from future opportunities to emergencies is generally easy to follow, and signposts such as “Moreover,” “Another reason,” and “Conclusively” help identify the stages of the argument. However, linking is sometimes mechanical: several points begin with formulaic phrases such as “To detail it out” and “To explain it further.” Some references are also unclear, as in “Hence, this are the benefits,” and the paragraph about spending on hobbies is not clearly connected to the overall argument. Use fewer formulaic transitions, make pronoun references precise, and explain how each paragraph advances or qualifies your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “investment,” “money management,” “medical emergency,” and “further education,” and you attempt more formal expressions such as “contemporary era.” This gives you enough range to communicate the main ideas. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, including “carrier development,” “goods return,” “saving money is friend indeed,” and “savings money.” There is also repetition of “very” and “key reason,” which limits flexibility. Aim for precise, natural combinations such as “career development,” “earn a return,” and “savings can provide a safety net.” Checking word forms and spelling will also make your meaning clearer and more polished.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “if the young one or older one saves money … it can be very helpful” and a concluding “although” clause. These attempts show some range, and the main message is generally understandable. However, there are some errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction. For example, “if the young individual learn … to saves” should use consistent subject–verb agreement and an infinitive form; “in a emergency situation” needs the correct article; and “this are the benefits” has a disagreement between subject and verb. Some long sentences also become difficult to control. Practise accurate clauses and check agreement, articles, and punctuation when editing.
