Student answer (Band 5.5)
Many people believes its is important , including young people , to save money for their future.I strongly believe it,because saving money can help everyone being responsible at the early age also its an personal insurance for any emergency.
Firstly, people need to start saving money from their early age. Cause it helps them to be a persistant and responsible person. They can learn about how to manage their expenses properly. For example, if one starts to save money he or she will always be conscious about spending money unnecessarily. It makes them a responsible person. And they need to learn this ability from the early age. Cause in future everyone have to manage their family . They have to be alert on their expenses . So saving money from the early age helps us to prepare for our future responsiblity.
Then , saving money also helps everyone in their crucial moments. Emergency can occur anytime. For instance , medical emergency can happen without any notice . And it needs lots of money . So if we have some savings we can cover the emergency at that moment. Also it saves time too . We don't have to rush for managing money at that time. Another example is that we may loss our jobs anytime and can have money shortage. So if we have savings we can pass the crucial time while finding another job or solution .
In conclusion ,saving money for future is benfical for both young and adult peoples in terms of being responsible and to get a secure future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the opening: you strongly agree that saving is important, and the conclusion restates this view. You address the main issue with two relevant reasons—developing financial responsibility and having funds for emergencies—and support them with examples such as medical costs and losing a job. This covers the task well. However, the first reason repeats the idea of becoming responsible without fully explaining how saving builds that skill, and the point about preparing to manage a family is asserted rather than illustrated. To strengthen the response further, develop each reason with a more specific explanation or example and make the link to young people explicit throughout. The response meets the required length; nine words copied from the task prompt were excluded from the count.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting separate reasons, and a conclusion. The sequence from financial responsibility to emergency protection is logical, and examples generally follow the points they support. However, progression within paragraphs is weakened by repeated statements, especially the several references to becoming responsible in the first body paragraph. Linking is also mechanical: “Firstly,” “Then,” “For example,” and repeated “So” or “And” often connect sentences without showing the precise relationship between ideas. Some references, such as “it” in “It makes them a responsible person,” are not fully clear. Use fewer repeated connectors, combine closely related points, and make each paragraph develop one central idea step by step.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “manage their expenses,” “medical emergency,” “money shortage,” and “savings.” However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “money,” “responsible,” and “emergency.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice problems, such as “persistant,” “responsiblity,” “benfical,” and “loss our jobs,” which reduce precision and sometimes make the reader pause. Some expressions are understandable but not natural in this context, including “personal insurance” and “pass the crucial time.” Build a wider set of accurate collocations for saving and financial security, and proofread spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, and the overall meaning is usually understandable. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to affect fluency. Examples include subject–verb agreement in “Many people believes” and “everyone have to manage,” incorrect verb patterns in “help everyone being responsible” and “helps us to prepare,” and article or determiner errors in “its an personal insurance.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also inconsistent, particularly the comma spacing and fragments beginning “Cause” or “And.” Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, and verb patterns, then connect ideas in complete sentences. Greater control of these basics would make your explanations easier to follow.
