Student answer (Band 5.5)
Many people believe that it is important for everyone to save money for their future. It is not wrong for saying that because saving is crucial for life. In the ups and downs of life such moment came when a person felt completely helpless. So it is important for people, including the youth to save money for their future needs.
When the young people were earning handsome amount of money they forget about their future. They spent their money on unnecessary requirements, they did shopping uncecessarily, buy latest phones without any need and save no money for future. Resultantly , when they need finance for their basic requirements, they dont have any capital. At that time they regret over their past and realize that they should save their capital for future needs. For young people when they are not married and have less expenses, they spend more money on irrelevant needs. After some time they get married and have children then they do not have any bread and butter for their family and felt completly lost.
Savings is equally important for the young people as well as for other individual of the society. For example if a businessman earns money throughout his life and save no finance, and due to some unfortunate reasons his business collapes. At that instance he will regret because a new business requires capital and he did not save any for his future. With the passage of time every person needs increase naturally such as education of his children and family increases.
To sum up all these it is best for everyone to save their finaces for their future needs as needs of every individual increases day by day.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear: you agree that saving is important for young people and for society more broadly. You address the main question and give relevant reasons, including unexpected business failure and future family expenses. The examples about buying phones unnecessarily and having children help illustrate why people may later regret not saving. This meets the task well, while some ideas are less fully developed than others: for instance, the point that “every person needs increase naturally” is asserted but not explained with a specific example or consequence. To strengthen the response further, develop each reason with clearer cause-and-effect detail and make the conclusion reflect the main arguments rather than simply restating the position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The ideas generally progress from young people’s spending habits to the wider importance of savings, and phrases such as “For example” and “To sum up” help signal stages in the argument. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. The first body paragraph moves from shopping to marriage and family responsibilities without a clear transition, while “At that time” and “After some time” repeat a similar time-based link. The sentence about rising needs is also left somewhat disconnected from the business example. Group related points more tightly, use clearer references, and make the relationship between examples and claims explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the central ideas, including terms such as “future needs,” “capital,” “unfortunate reasons” and “basic requirements.” However, the range is limited and several choices or collocations sound unnatural, which sometimes makes the reader pause. For example, “save their finances” and “needs increase naturally” do not express the intended meaning precisely; “bread and butter” is also an awkward fit for describing a family’s financial provision. Spelling errors such as “uncecessarily,” “collapes” and “finaces” further reduce accuracy. Build a more precise set of expressions for saving, spending and financial security, and check spelling and collocations during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including clauses beginning with “When” and “because,” but control is uneven. Tense shifts and agreement errors appear in examples such as “When the young people were earning … they forget” and “their needs increase”; the latter also needs a clearer grammatical construction. Other errors include “It is not wrong for saying,” “a person felt completely helpless,” and “they do not have any bread and butter … and felt completely lost.” Some sentences also run together, as in the list of spending habits, where punctuation or sentence boundaries are needed. Practise consistent tense, subject–verb agreement and complete sentence structures, then proofread for articles and punctuation.
