Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is important for every person, to save money for their future, including young adults. I fully agree with this that every person should save money for their future. Because, saved money will helps alot in their future.
The main reason for saving money for future is that people will need money for their future to face the challenges or financial problems at any time. Beacuse people don't know about the future what could be happened tomorrow. Therefore it also helps if a person wants to buy something that is really important for if they saved money. For example in my childhood i usually save my money daily and it helps me in future to brought my favorite chocolates.
Further more, saving money can also helps in difficult suitations like any future accidents or helping someone that have no money in their hard situation. So if we have save money we can easily handled the challenges properly and also we could helps the peoples that are very closely to us

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is clear: you fully agree that people, including young adults, should save for the future. You give relevant reasons, such as preparing for financial difficulties and being able to help someone close to you, and you include a personal example about saving for chocolates. However, the response addresses the topic only partially because these ideas are briefly stated rather than explained or supported in enough detail. The childhood example illustrates saving, but it does not strongly demonstrate preparation for future needs. The response also falls 80 words short of the required minimum, limiting the opportunity to develop your reasons. Extend each main point with a realistic example and explain how saving benefits people over time.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a basic structure: an introduction states your view, followed by two paragraphs giving reasons. Linking expressions such as “Therefore” and “Further more” show an attempt to connect ideas. However, progression is limited, and several points are joined in ways that make their relationships unclear. For example, the sentence about buying something important leads into the childhood example about chocolates, which does not clearly support the broader argument. The final paragraph ends without a concluding sentence, so the response feels unfinished. Use one clear main idea per paragraph, explain it in a logical sequence, and add a brief conclusion that restates your position. Check that each linking phrase accurately signals the relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate basic ideas, including “save money,” “financial problems,” “challenges,” and “accidents.” However, the range is limited and several phrases are repetitive or imprecise, particularly repeated references to “future” and “money.” Some word choices and collocations make the meaning less natural, such as “difficult suitations” and “hard situation.” Spelling errors, including “Beacuse” and “alot,” also reduce accuracy. Aim to use a wider range of precise expressions for financial planning and unexpected events, while checking spelling and common word combinations. For instance, describe saving as preparing for “unexpected expenses” rather than repeating the general word “challenges.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
Your writing communicates a clear overall message, and you attempt both simple and longer sentence forms. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently, especially in verb forms, agreement, and sentence construction. Examples include “saved money will helps,” “saving money can also helps,” and “we have save money”; these should use consistent and correct verb forms. The opening also has an unnecessary comma after “person,” while “Because” begins a fragment rather than a complete sentence. These errors sometimes make the reader pause to interpret your meaning. Practise forming accurate sentences with modal verbs and present perfect structures, and combine dependent clauses with a complete main clause. Proofread each sentence for subject–verb agreement and punctuation.
