Student answer (Band 6.0)
It if often argued that everyone should save some money, including youth for their better future. I completely agree with this view because all of us need to save money for our future plans and saving plays a significant role, especially in old age.
Firstly, all we need to do savings for our future plans. This is because at some point we all need some money for our basic requirements. For instance, a person who saves money can make better decision for his life on his own without the consent of anyone else. Therefore, savings for future provide equal opportunities and benifits society as a whole.
Secondly, savings for future plays a vital role, especially in old age. In other words, when we get older we all require some money for basic needs such as making investments or dealing with ilnesses. To illustrate, In developing countries people save some amount of money every month for their future because they know the circumstances that they have to face in upcoming years. As a result, individuals can maintain a healthy lifestyle and reduce the risk of future problems caused by a lack of money.
In conclusion, I completely agree that all of us should do some savings, especailly youngsters. This is mainly because we all need some money for our future needs and also it enables people to spend a healthy lifestyle in their old age. Overall, I believe we should consider this matter seriously and save some portion of money for our future needs

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction to the conclusion: you completely agree that people, including young people, should save. Both reasons are relevant—saving supports future plans and provides security in old age—and the examples about making independent decisions and preparing for illness help explain them. This meets the task well, but the development is uneven: the first reason remains general, and the example about decisions does not show clearly what plans savings would enable. The reference to investments and illnesses is also brief. To strengthen the response, explain one specific situation in more depth and connect it directly to young people’s need to save, while keeping your position consistent.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “Firstly” and “Secondly,” and a conclusion that restates your view. The ideas generally progress from future plans to security in old age, so the reader can follow the argument. However, linking is somewhat mechanical, with repeated transitions such as “For instance,” “To illustrate,” and “As a result.” Some connections are also unclear: “Therefore, savings for future provide equal opportunities and benefits society as a whole” does not clearly follow from the example about making decisions independently. Use fewer formulaic linkers and make the relationship between each example and its main point explicit. Clearer referencing would also help the conclusion avoid simply repeating earlier claims.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough topic vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “basic requirements,” “investments,” “old age,” and “healthy lifestyle.” There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “plays a vital role” and “reduce the risk.” However, the range is limited by repeated use of “money,” “future,” and “savings,” and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate: “do savings,” “benefits society,” and “spend a healthy lifestyle” do not express the intended meanings naturally. Spelling errors such as “benifits,” “ilnesses,” and “especailly” are noticeable. Build a wider set of accurate phrases for financial planning and security, and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a reason clause (“This is because…”) and a conditional example (“A person who saves money can…”). Most of the argument remains understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. For example, “all we need to do savings” has an incorrect verb pattern, while “savings for future provide” has problems with article use and subject–verb agreement. There are also missing spaces after full stops and inconsistent capitalisation, as in “plans. This” and “To illustrate, In.” These errors show that control is not yet consistent, even though the intended meaning is usually clear. Practise accurate verb patterns, agreement, and articles, then proofread sentence boundaries and punctuation.
