Student answer (Band 6.0)

The concept of saving money for everyone and young people is a good and important initiative for them. There are severals kind of emergencies which require money and if people do not have money at the moment of the truth, the results can disturbing.I agree that it is important for everyone, including of young people,to save money for their future.Rather, they have to pay fees for universitites and to pay for medical treatment in hospital. If a student has enough saving,he will be able to afford extra expenses by himself and less dependency on parents. It will help to extra load on family.

For instance,if someone from family suffer heart attack and for treatment, money is required. In countries like Pakistan,Bangladesh and India, sometime you have to book private ambulances to shift patient to hospital.Let suppose,if a person do not have enough savings for treatment and for private ambulances, there will be no chances of the survival of patient.Another important condition is that, when a student gets addmission in university,he needs to pay the fees for each course. If a student does not have enough money to pay his tuition fees and travel expenses, how could he will manage these things. So,the end result is that, enough saving can help alot in future.

However, the student should more focus on learning instead of saving and they should be punctual in university. They should follow university rules and regulations and do not spend money on things, which are not important and beneficial.Saving money does not really mean to chase money always. The main initiative is to save money for their education and for any kind of emergencies that can happen at anytime.

To conclude, saving money should be treat as hobby for every individual and is more important for young generation to afford their own expenses and it can help to them make deceisions for themselves, using their own money in future and it can lead towards bright future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

Your position is clear from the introduction: you agree that everyone, including young people, should save for the future. You address relevant reasons, especially medical emergencies and university costs, and the examples involving ambulance fees and tuition help explain why savings matter. This fully covers the task at this level and shows some development beyond simply stating an opinion. However, the university point is repeated, and the claim that a lack of savings could mean “no chances of the survival” is too absolute and needs more careful support. The final paragraph introduces sensible limits—students should prioritise learning and avoid unnecessary spending—but these ideas are not fully connected to your main argument. Develop each reason with clearer explanation and a more balanced example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, supporting paragraphs, a qualification beginning “However,” and a conclusion. The examples generally follow the points they illustrate, so the reader can understand the main progression. However, connections between ideas are sometimes mechanical or unclear. For example, “Rather” does not clearly introduce the university and medical-cost reasons, while “So, the end result is that” repeats the conclusion of the preceding example. Some references are also vague, such as “these things” and “It will help to extra load on family,” making relationships between ideas harder to follow. Use fewer formulaic transitions and make each paragraph focus on one main reason, with clear links between the claim, explanation, and example.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “medical treatment,” “tuition fees,” “travel expenses,” and “emergencies.” There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “private ambulances” and “rules and regulations.” However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, word-form, and spelling errors make the writing less natural: “severals kind,” “extra load,” “gets addmission,” and “saving money should be treat as hobby.” Some phrases are also imprecise, including “moment of the truth” for an emergency situation. Build a more accurate set of collocations for discussing personal finance and education, and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise vocabulary would make your explanations clearer and more fluent.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “if a student has enough saving, he will be able to afford extra expenses.” This helps you explain consequences, and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, control is inconsistent: errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence construction occur in several places. For example, “if someone from family suffer heart attack” needs a clearer subject and correct verb agreement, while “how could he will manage these things” combines incompatible question forms. The long opening and concluding sentences also need clearer punctuation and clause boundaries. Practise accurate conditional sentences and shorter, well-controlled complex sentences, then proofread for agreement and articles.
