Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is argued that saving money for future use is important for everyone including from the early age. I totally agree with the statement as people can use the money to achieve their long term goal and even if any unexpected situation arise.
Everyone has their own long term goals in their life. Some goals required even a lot of money. To achieve these goals people should save money from their early age so that one day they can achive their dreams. For example, I always had a dream to go on a trip on nepal. But it required a lot of money. To achieve this dream I planned and saved money for two years. After tso years finally I had the money that required to go on a nepal trip, and finally I have achieved my dream.
Another reason to save money is that, not always in our life goes on with our plan. Sometimes unexpected situation comes. Anyone can loss thier jobs or they can face any accident anytime when money is the most important thing. For example, there was a colleague in my workplace who had an bike accident and needed a surgery. It required a lot of money. Luckily he had a savings by which he had the surgery successfully. If he didn't have the money, it was difficult for him to managed the money that time to do the surgery.
In the conclusion, everyone including young people should always save money for their future. It will help them to achieve their goals and even help them in any unexpected situation when money needs the most.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction: you totally agree, and the conclusion restates that view. You address the task with two relevant reasons—saving for long-term goals and preparing for unexpected events—and support each with a personal example. The Nepal trip illustrates planning towards a goal, while your colleague’s accident shows the practical value of savings. This gives the response a solid, relevant foundation. However, the first example focuses on one trip and could explain more broadly how saving benefits young people’s future, while the emergency example could develop the consequences of having no savings more clearly. To strengthen the response further, extend these explanations and connect them more explicitly to why saving matters for everyone, not only in these individual cases.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each reason, and a conclusion. The progression from future goals to unexpected expenses is logical, and phrases such as “For example” help signal supporting evidence. Your conclusion also brings the two main points together. Some linking is repetitive or mechanical, particularly the repeated use of “For example” and “Another reason,” and the final sentence repeats ideas already stated. A few references are not fully clear, as in “After tso years finally I had the money that required,” where the relationship between the money and the trip is difficult to follow. Use a wider range of transitions and make references more precise to create smoother progression between claims and examples.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “long term goal,” “unexpected situation,” “savings,” and “surgery.” The examples are understandable, and some phrases, such as “achieve their dreams,” suit the topic. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, including “go on a trip on nepal,” “loss their jobs,” and “the money that required.” Spelling errors such as “achive,” “thier,” and “tso” also reduce accuracy. These issues do not prevent the reader from understanding the overall message, but they make the writing less natural. Build a broader set of precise phrases for discussing financial planning and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional idea in “If he didn't have the money…” and a reason clause beginning “so that.” The overall meaning remains understandable, and the paragraph structure helps the reader follow your points. However, some errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction remain. For example, “Sometimes unexpected situation comes” needs a plural noun and matching verb, while “If he didn't have the money, it was difficult for him to managed” has an incorrect verb form and an awkward clause structure. The opening sentence also has an incomplete construction around “including from the early age.” Review agreement, articles, and verb patterns, and aim for more consistently accurate complex sentences.
