Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is considered that people should spend money wisey and save for their carrer, including yong people. I largely agree with this statement because it provides finacial security and help to achive long term goals.

Firstly, saving money helps people to deal with unexpected issuses. If people doesn't save money for facing emergency issuses such health concerns ,then they may struggle to cope with situation which can leads to major problems. When individuals finacial background is strong then they can deal with any consequences easily without depending on the other person finacial support. For example, person who met with accident can support finacially to themseleves without borrowing money from the reletives or friends. Hence, people should have certain amount money in their fixed deposit accounts to overcome unexpected problems.

Secondly, it support people to accomplish thier long term goals. If people have less amount of money with them, then they cannot support their dream which requires finacial investement. However, when people have enough money with them then they can support themselves even the buget exceed untill they full fill their wish.

For instance, startup inventers having huge money can support their oragnization even if the plan fails or budget exceed until they get success. Due to this, having money in the backup helps to cope with struggles to achive dreams.

In conclusion, it is very important for people to save money for future irrespective of their age.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you largely agree that people of all ages should save, and you give two relevant reasons—financial protection in emergencies and support for long-term ambitions. The accident example illustrates the first point, while the start-up example relates to the second. However, the development is uneven: the emergency paragraph explains the benefit more clearly, whereas the start-up example and the claim about continuing when a plan fails need more explanation. The conclusion restates your view but does not add a final insight. The response is 14 words below the required minimum, so it does not fully meet the task’s length requirement. Develop the examples and explain more precisely how saving benefits young people as well as adults.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting separate reasons, and a conclusion. Sequencing is easy to follow, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “In conclusion” help identify each stage. This coherent arrangement is a strength. However, some connections are mechanical, and a few references are unclear. For example, “support financially to themselves” and “support their dream” leave the reader to infer exactly who or what is being supported. The second body paragraph also moves quickly from saving to start-up success without fully explaining the link. Use clearer pronouns and transitions that show cause and effect, and develop each paragraph’s central idea before moving to its example.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “financial security,” “long term goals,” “unexpected issues,” and “fixed deposit accounts.” These choices show an attempt to discuss saving and financial planning rather than relying only on very basic terms. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause: examples include “wisey,” “carrer,” “finacial,” “achive,” and “reletives.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “support their dream” and “money in the backup.” Aim to check spelling carefully and learn common collocations, for example “achieve goals,” “financially support themselves,” and “emergency savings.” More precise vocabulary would make your ideas clearer and more natural.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including conditional clauses such as “If people doesn’t save money…” and a relative clause in “person who met with accident.” This gives the response some structural variety, and the main meaning is generally understandable. However, some errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence boundaries remain. For example, “people doesn’t” should be “people don’t,” and “which can leads” should be “which can lead.” The sentence beginning “If people have less amount of money” also needs an article or a different construction, such as “If people have less money.” Review subject–verb agreement and article use, and proofread punctuation around clauses. Greater accuracy in these patterns would strengthen your control.
