Student answer (Band 5.5)
For upcoming time, it is very essential for everybody, involving you generation to retain money. I agree with this statement because the future children will require to have better schooling. Another reason would be an inflation in our country, which rises each day.
Firstly, I believe every individual has a dream to have their wife/husband and children, which needs numerous sacrifices. Later, they need money for their household expenses, and fees for their studies in various educational institutions. Nowadays, learners do competition with their neighborhoods for the quality education they pursue in their schools. For instance, it is trend in our society that each pupil wants to take various tuitions for better performances and results to obtain, which need numerous amount of funds. As a result, they hope for their parents to have adequate cash for their schooling.
Furthermore, Our country economical situation is extremely bad, due to which inflation causes. It will be even more worse than ever in the future, so its our responsibility to have sufficient amount of budget for that difficult time by saving the money now. Due to this issue, various other things can also be affected, so we should prepare ourself for that. For instance, it would be very challenging for poor people to pay utility bills if they do not have adequate money.
In conclusion, I tend to think that teenagers and others need to save money for their future life with wife and children, and then have enough money for them to spend. Moreover, it will be very advantageous for poor community to prevent inflation issues later in their future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you agree that people, including young people, should save, and you give two relevant reasons—future education and rising living costs. The examples about tuition and poor households struggling with utility bills help connect these reasons to everyday life. This fits the task, but the discussion is unevenly developed. The education point focuses mainly on parents paying for children’s schooling, rather than explaining how young people themselves benefit from saving. The inflation paragraph also predicts worsening conditions without much explanation of how personal savings would help. To strengthen the response, explain the link between each reason and the need for individuals to save, and develop the examples with more specific consequences.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “Firstly” and “Furthermore,” and a conclusion. This makes the main line of argument easy to identify. Some progression is also created through examples and results, such as the tuition example followed by “As a result.” However, connections can feel mechanical, and some references are unclear. For example, “Due to this issue, various other things can also be affected” does not specify what the issue or effects are, while the conclusion repeats the main points rather than drawing them together. Improve cohesion by making each paragraph’s central point explicit, using pronouns only when their reference is clear, and linking examples directly to the argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You communicate the main ideas using relevant topic vocabulary, including “inflation,” “household expenses,” “educational institutions,” and “utility bills.” There is also some attempt to use less common expressions, but inaccurate word choice and collocation are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning less natural. Examples include “upcoming time” for the future, “retain money” for save money, “do competition with their neighborhoods,” and “numerous amount of funds.” “Our country economical situation” also shows difficulty forming the appropriate expression. Aim to learn vocabulary in natural combinations, such as “compete with their peers,” “a substantial amount of money,” and “the country’s economic situation.” This will make your ideas clearer and more precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “which,” and “if,” and most of the argument remains understandable. However, some grammatical errors occur in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and verb forms. For example, “the future children will require to have” needs a different verb pattern, and “inflation causes” does not form a correct clause. In “It will be even more worse,” the comparative structure is incorrect; “moreover” is not needed before “worse.” There are also errors in “they need money for their household expenses, and fees” and “we should prepare ourself.” Review verb patterns, singular/plural agreement, articles, and punctuation, then proofread each sentence for a complete and correctly formed structure.
