Student answer (Band 6.0)
The world is transforming so fast and saving money for the future is becoming essential for everyone now, specially for the new generation and younger people. I strongly agree that to save money for the future is very important because the financial situation is becoming worst worldwide due to several wars going on. The other main reason is that due to the fast advancement in tehcnology specially in Artificial Intelligence , it is predicted that it will take over many jobs and it can effect financially to alot of people.
Due to the ongoing wars in different pockets of the world is effecting the financial condition of everyone. Due to these wars the prices of oils and things essential to live is constantly becoming expensive and in near future it seems like these wars will go on and the financial situation of people living on the Earth will get effected so if people including the young generation plans their future accordingly and save some portion of money from their monthly salaries by reducing their monthly expenses now can dramatically help them and their families in future. Secondly, the inflation is predicted to increase in the upcoming years and it is important for the young people to save money to tackle with this difficult situation coming towards them in the upcoming years.
Furthermore, it is predicted that Artificial Intelligence will take over alot of jobs in the next decade that can have negative impact on the financial condition of many people. For instance in the past few months I have personally heard that alot of people around me lost their jobs due to this and to secure a new job is becoming equaally difficult and a survey claims that it is taking around 5-6 months for each individual to secure a new job right now. I personally saw this happening to many people around me and those who saved money in the past were able to use it in this difficult moment and those who did not save a penny found it quite difficult to cover their essential expenses.
To conclude this, I would strongly recommend everyone specially the younger people to plan their future and save money for the difficult time coming towards them in future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
Your position is clear from the opening—“I strongly agree”—and remains consistent in the conclusion. You address the importance of saving for both young people and the wider population, supporting your view with two relevant reasons: economic uncertainty linked to wars and inflation, and possible job losses associated with AI. The personal example about people who lost jobs and used savings gives the second point useful support. This is a well-focused response with ideas extended through explanation and examples. To strengthen it further, avoid presenting broad predictions as established facts: for example, qualify the claim that AI “will take over alot of jobs” and explain more precisely how saving helps young people prepare for that risk.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall progression: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs develop separate reasons, and the conclusion restates your recommendation. “Secondly” and “Furthermore” help signal the movement between points, and the example in the final body paragraph follows logically from the discussion of AI-related job insecurity. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical, particularly through repeated use of “Due to” and “in the upcoming years.” The first body paragraph also packs several linked claims into one long sentence, making the relationships between rising prices, inflation, and saving less easy to follow. Use clearer sentence boundaries and vary linking and referencing—for example, refer back to “these economic pressures” rather than repeating the same phrases.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate your main ideas, including “financial situation,” “inflation,” “monthly expenses,” and “essential expenses.” Some choices also show an attempt to express more specific concepts, such as “secure a new job” and “cover their essential expenses.” However, the range is limited by repeated general wording such as “difficult situation,” “financial condition,” and “in future.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice errors, including “specially,” “effected” where “affected” is intended, “alot,” and “equaally.” These do not prevent understanding, but they reduce precision and naturalness. Aim for accurate collocations and more varied terms for economic uncertainty and financial preparation.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt complex sentences to explain causes and consequences, and the overall meaning is generally understandable. However, many sentences contain errors in agreement, verb forms, or sentence construction, which limits control. For example, “Due to the ongoing wars … is effecting” has a plural subject with a singular verb, while “the prices … is constantly becoming” also needs plural agreement. In “if people … plans their future,” the verb does not agree with the subject. Several sentences are also very long and joined without clear punctuation, especially the sentence beginning “Due to these wars the prices…”. Practise breaking these into shorter, complete sentences and checking subject–verb agreement, articles, and punctuation while retaining some accurate complex structures.
