Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent years, saving money has become a debated issue in our society. People should save money for their better future. There are various benefits of saving money. People should comsider this method for convenient life. I strongly agree with the idea of saving money of young people. It will be very advantageous for them.
Young individuals should save money for future because if suddenly any hardship occurs in future they will be able to handle it own its own. Saving money should be very beneficial for their children also because they will be able to pay their feeses of institutes and also can use the savings in the hour of need. Young persons should save money by purchasing insurances like health insurance which will very favourable for them in future. They should also open a saving account in banks which will also very good for their future not only for their also for their children.
They should save money because they can utilize savings when a sudden emergency comes, so they will be able to overcome the situation instead of looking for ohters to help them. If they don't save then when they need money they have to look others for the help which is very embarrassing. So they should save them because they will become independent in every situation.
In conclusion, there are numerouse favours of savings. Younger citizens should save altleast some amount beside their expenses. It is supportive for them and also fot their families. I believe that savings will be very essential and favourable for the youngsters of our society. This idea is so meaninful for their easier future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you strongly agree that young people should save, and you give relevant reasons, especially preparing for emergencies and supporting future family expenses. The examples of health insurance and a bank account also relate to the topic. This addresses the task, but some points are less fully developed than others. For instance, the discussion of children’s education is introduced without explaining how likely or important this responsibility is for young savers, while the emergency argument is repeated rather than extended with a specific example. To strengthen the response, explain the consequences of saving and connect each example more directly to young people’s future needs.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its main sections. The ideas about emergencies and family needs are relevant, and phrases such as “In conclusion” help signal the ending. However, overall progression is limited: the first body paragraph moves between children’s fees, insurance and bank accounts without a clear organising principle, and the second repeats the emergency point already made. Linking phrases such as “also” and “because” are used repeatedly, while references such as “they” and “them” can be unclear. Group related reasons into distinct paragraphs and use more precise transitions to show how each point develops.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate your main ideas, including “saving money,” “health insurance,” “emergency” and “independent.” However, the range is limited and several expressions are repetitive or unnatural, such as “favourable for them,” “in the hour of need” and “easier future.” Spelling errors, including “comsider,” “ohters,” “numerouse” and “altleast,” are noticeable and reduce accuracy. Some word choices also make the intended meaning less clear, as in “save money of young people.” Build a more precise range of collocations for financial planning and check spelling carefully; this will make your argument clearer and more natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple sentences and longer clauses, including a conditional structure in “if suddenly any hardship occurs … they will be able to handle it.” This shows some range, and the overall meaning is generally understandable. However, control is inconsistent, particularly in longer sentences. For example, “they will be able to handle it own its own” has an unclear pronoun reference and faulty construction, while “which will very favourable” is missing a verb. In “they have to look others for the help,” the verb pattern and article use are inaccurate. Practise forming complete clauses, checking subject–verb patterns and using pronouns with clear references. More accurate complex sentences would improve readability.
