Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is very crucial for the youth to save some money for their future especially in the modern society for the purpose of financial stability.
In the contemporary society, overconsumption or over spending has become super common in younger generation due to various reasons. One of the biggest reason is social media where young people are influenced by the shoping spree type of contents like somone spending fortune on just a single pare of shoe. Young people do not realise that one must have insane amount of money to spend on things like thsese. Such exposures make them to spend all of their money on useless things making it hard for them to save up some amount.
Saving money is very important for young people as it gives them a sense of responsibility and accountability of money that they aqquire. Several measures could be taken to motivate or educate kids to save some money like financial education at high school level or kids saving account scheme by local government to encourage the habit of saving money. This will not only motivate the youngsters but it will also creat the financial awarness. Moreover, parents should also play their role in teaching kids to save money at the early stges of their life.
I wholeheartedly agree with the statment that young generation should built the habit of saving money to cope up with the upcoming financial situations in future otherwise they might have to face some financial troubles if they will not have any saving habit.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear: you agree that young people should save, and you give relevant reasons, including financial stability and the influence of social media on spending. The example of content showing someone buying an expensive pair of shoes helps illustrate the problem, while suggestions such as school financial education and parental guidance add practical support. This covers the task well overall. However, some points are less fully developed: explain more specifically how saving prepares young people for future situations, such as emergencies, education costs, or housing. The final paragraph repeats your position but could instead draw together your main reasons and show more clearly why they support your degree of agreement.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a coherent overall arrangement: it introduces your view, discusses overspending, presents ways to encourage saving, and ends with a clear conclusion. Paragraphs generally have a distinct purpose, and linking expressions such as “Moreover” and “This will not only… but…” help connect ideas. There is also a logical link between social-media influence and difficulty saving. At times, however, connections feel mechanical or the reference is unclear. For example, “This will not only motivate the youngsters” does not specify whether “this” refers to financial education, the savings scheme, or both. The conclusion also repeats the introduction rather than advancing the argument. Use clearer references and develop transitions that show how each point supports your central position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “financial stability,” “overconsumption,” “financial education,” and “accountability,” and the meaning is generally understandable. There are also attempts at more expressive phrasing, such as “spending a fortune.” However, noticeable spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural word combinations reduce accuracy: “shoping,” “somone,” “pare,” “awarness,” and “stges” should be corrected, while “super common” is too informal for this essay. Phrases such as “kids saving account scheme” and “cope up with” are not natural collocations. Aim for consistently formal, precise wording and proofread spelling; this would make your vocabulary more effective without requiring unnecessarily complicated terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including a relative clause in “where young people are influenced…” and a conditional structure in the conclusion. Most ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors occur in sentence construction and agreement. For example, “One of the biggest reason” needs a plural noun, and “make them to spend” uses an incorrect verb pattern. The final sentence combines “might have to face” with “if they will not have,” where the conditional form is not well controlled. There are also issues with articles and phrasing, as in “at high school level.” Practise accurate verb patterns and conditional sentences, and check agreement and articles when editing. Greater control of these structures would make your argument smoother.
