Student answer (Band 5.0)

As far as this topic is concerned, I agree this statement important for everyone saving money for the future has always been debatable and has now become more controversial with many people claiming that is beneficila while other reject this notion. The substantial influence of this saving money for their future has sparked the controversy over the potential impact in recent years. From my prospective, the former proposition appears to be more rational. This essay will futher elaborate my views has for favoring positive or negative impact of this trend and thus will lead to a logical conclusion.

Analyzing the statement further, the primary reason behind my opinion is that saving money provides financial security and helps people deal with unexpected situations. This is particularly important because individuals may face financial difficulties due to unemployment, medical emergencies or other unexpected expenses. Categorically discussing, it cannot be ignored that the main reason behind this is that especially in our country, it has far-reaching consequences. It helps individuals achieve financial stability, manage unexpected expenses and fulfil their future goals because they can use their savings during difficult times and avoid unnecessary financial stress.

Moving further, it is pertinent to mention that it is the basic duty of the government to provide a safe and stable society for the betterment of the public. It is imperative for the authorities concerned to look into factor behind this issue and take drastic action against the concerned persons.

To encapsulate, I would like to appeal to the learned figures to come forward, focus their gaze at this issue and launch a vigorous campaign to reform it across society.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

Your opening states agreement and gives a relevant central reason: saving can provide “financial security” and help with unemployment or medical emergencies. These points show some understanding of the topic. However, the response only partially develops the argument. The first body paragraph repeats the benefits of savings without giving a specific example or explaining why saving is important for young people in particular. The next paragraph shifts to the government’s duty and calls for action against “concerned persons,” which is not clearly connected to the question. The conclusion also asks public figures to launch a campaign rather than summarising your position. Keep the discussion focused on personal saving and support your reasons with concrete examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The response has an identifiable introduction, body paragraphs and conclusion, and transitions such as “Analyzing the statement further” and “To encapsulate” signal movement between sections. However, the ideas do not progress consistently. The first body paragraph develops financial security, but the following paragraph introduces government responsibility and action against unspecified people without a clear link to saving. Several sentences in the introduction repeat the same general claim, while the conclusion does not draw together the argument. Some linking phrases feel formulaic rather than showing the relationship between ideas. Organise the essay around two connected reasons, use each paragraph to explain one reason, and make the conclusion directly restate your view.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.0

You use an adequate range of vocabulary and attempt some less common expressions, including “financial security,” “financial stability,” “unexpected expenses” and “financial stress.” These phrases suit the topic and communicate relevant ideas. There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice problems, such as “beneficila,” “prospective” where “perspective” is intended, and “futher.” Some formal expressions are awkward or imprecise: “the substantial influence of this saving money” and “learned figures” do not sound natural in this context. Aim for precise, natural collocations rather than adding elaborate phrases. For example, use straightforward language such as “saving provides a safety net” and “public figures” where appropriate.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a sentence explaining that people may face difficulties “due to unemployment, medical emergencies or other unexpected expenses.” However, some sentences are difficult to follow because clauses are joined or constructed inaccurately. The opening sentence combines several ideas without clear grammatical boundaries, and “I agree this statement important” is missing the structure needed after “agree.” In “This essay will futher elaborate my views has for favoring,” the clause is not grammatically complete. There are also errors in articles and sentence construction, such as “look into factor behind this issue.” Use shorter, controlled sentences first, then add complex clauses with clear subjects and verbs; check punctuation and clause boundaries during revision.
