Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is of significant importance for all, including younger people, to have savings for their future. From my perspective, I strongly agree with the opinion that savings play a very important role in one's life.
To begin with, I believe that having money in one's hand is very important in today's inflationary environment. A lot of people are doing this practice in order to deal with many challenging situations if happens sto them. For instance, if a person in a family becomes extremely sick with a dangerous disease, it will be more convenient for their family to treat them properly and to clear the dues of hospital with their savings. Therefore, having money in hand saves people's lives.
Furthermore, students should adopt the habit of saving. It can build a sense of responsibility from childhood. As a result, this helps them in the future whenever they are in need of it. It will also be beneficial for them when moving abroad for higher studies, even if their parents are unable to afford their education. Therefore, they will be capable of meeting their expenses.
Moreover, if people save money, they will be able to help others too if they need it. It will also develop the habit of helping others. It saves people's relationships with one another. It can prevent people from being stingy in every situation.
In conclusion, I think there are a lot of advantages of savings money. It improves people's relationships with one another abd develop sense of responsibility, confidence, and inculcate more values in them.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction: you strongly agree that saving is important. You address several relevant reasons, including financial protection during illness, students’ independence, and helping others, with the hospital and overseas-study examples giving the response a sound basis. This meets the task well. However, the reasons are not all developed equally: the point about relationships and avoiding stinginess is asserted rather than explained, and the student example could show more specifically how saving enables independence. To strengthen the response further, explain the consequences of each main point and connect them explicitly to why saving matters for young people as well as adults.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay has a clear overall structure: an introduction, three body paragraphs organised around separate benefits, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “To begin with,” “Furthermore,” and “Moreover” make the progression easy to follow, and the examples generally appear beside the points they support. This gives the response coherent organisation. At times, however, linking is mechanical, with several paragraphs relying on “Therefore” or “It will also,” and some references are vague—for example, “This helps them” and “It saves people’s relationships” do not identify the idea precisely. Use a wider range of natural links and make pronouns refer clearly to a specific action or benefit to create smoother progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including topic-relevant terms such as “inflationary environment,” “sense of responsibility,” and “higher studies.” There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, which suit the essay. However, several word choices and collocations are awkward or imprecise, such as “money in one’s hand,” “clear the dues of hospital,” and “advantages of savings money.” Repetition of “important,” “people,” and “help” also limits flexibility. These choices do not prevent the reader from understanding your argument, but they make parts sound unnatural. Aim to learn common collocations for finance and education, and check word forms and spelling, including “abd” and “develop” in the conclusion.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple statements and more developed clauses, including conditional structures such as “if a person in a family becomes extremely sick” and “even if their parents are unable to afford their education.” Most of the argument remains understandable, and errors rarely obscure the intended meaning. Some grammatical problems remain, however: “if happens sto them” lacks a clear subject and has an incorrect verb form, while “It improves people’s relationships … and develop sense of responsibility” has a subject–verb agreement problem and missing article. The sentence beginning “A lot of people are doing this practice” is also awkwardly constructed. Review clause formation, agreement, and articles, while continuing to practise accurate complex sentences.
