Student answer (Band 5.5)

Nowadays, many people believe that saving their money for future is good for everyone. I completely agree with this information and i discuss some of the reasons why I agree with this statemant.

Firstly, a person who had some disease and their life will on risk and if they has some savings for their treatment that is good but if they dont has savings the faces problem. for instancee a person suddenly admitted to hospital and doctor says to operate it and they dont have money may be he faces problem and if they have savings for that time. This can help him not to convence someone to give him a money on his time of difficulty.

Secondly, young boy who hade a dream to buy sports car and they have some savings for their future to buy it. They dont ask this wish with his parents and they buy it with their savings.

Another reason, why I agree with this if someone try to start a new business and they have it. They start it easily dont ask anyone for funding their business.

One disagree statement is people do not live their life easily if the only save their money for future and waste their present life. Life is unpredictable some people died while sleeping and someone died in car accident.

In conclusion, saving money for future will help anyone if they suddenly need something or if they face any problem that only money can solve it there there are many problem that money can only solve it. On the other side the saving money is not only like a person not spend money ownself and save it for future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear from the opening: “I completely agree,” and you give relevant reasons involving medical emergencies, buying a car, and starting a business. You also acknowledge a counterpoint—that saving too much can reduce enjoyment of the present—which helps address the extent question. This fits the task well, although the supporting ideas are unevenly developed. The medical example explains a practical benefit, but the sports-car example is less persuasive as a reason everyone, especially young people, should save, and the business point is asserted rather than illustrated. The conclusion repeats the main view but does not clearly reconcile your agreement with the concern about present enjoyment. Develop each example and explain how it supports your overall position.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for reasons, a counterpoint, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “In conclusion” make the main stages easy to identify. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow, particularly in the medical example, where several ideas are joined into a long, unclear sentence. The transition to “One disagree statement” is abrupt, and the conclusion repeats the idea that money solves problems without clearly linking it to the counterargument. Some references, such as “they” and “it,” are also unclear. Use shorter, logically connected sentences and make the relationship between each example and your position explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main points, including “savings,” “treatment,” “funding,” and “unpredictable.” However, the range is limited and several expressions are inaccurate or unnatural, which sometimes makes the reader work to understand your meaning. For example, “their life will on risk,” “convene someone to give him a money,” and “waste their present life” do not express the intended ideas naturally. Spelling errors such as “statemant,” “for instancee,” and “hade” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise set of phrases for financial planning and emergencies, and check spelling and collocations. This would make your examples clearer without requiring more complicated vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with clauses, for example, the sentence beginning “if someone try to start a new business.” This shows an effort to express conditions and explain reasons. However, control is inconsistent: “if they has some savings,” “they dont has savings,” and “a person suddenly admitted to hospital” contain errors in agreement, verb forms, or sentence construction. Some long sentences combine several clauses without clear punctuation, making relationships between ideas hard to follow. Articles and pronouns are also not consistently controlled. Practise accurate conditional patterns, such as “If someone has savings, they can pay for treatment,” and divide complex explanations into complete sentences. More reliable control of these structures would improve clarity.
