Student answer (Band 6.0)

Saving financial resources for future is significant for all people, aslo the young idividuals. I am also of the firm opinion that it is important to save money to secure future because economies are becoming less stable and inflation is rising worldwide. Therefore, it seems hard to rely only on incomes in upcoming time. Many uncontrollable factors can force anyone out of employment, So one should have sufficent funds to support himself.

Economies of the countries are now less stronger than in the past. Thus, prices of every basic neccassity of life are increasing. In a consequence, future earnings of individuals will not be able to provide a better standard of life. So, everyone should save money in order to provide ease to themselves in future. Young people should also save money as they are going to be responsible for their next generation. For instance, a young individual has enough monthly salary to enjoy his life currently but after a few years he might not be able to provide a convenient life to his offspring without savings from his young life.

There are certain unpredictable events like lockdowns, wars or the health of people, that can force people out of their jobs. consequently, a person with no funds saved will not be able to provide for his basic survival. As for example, a person meets an accident that result in severe damage prohibiting him from working. He would be able to manage easily if he had saved money.

In conclusion, people having funds saved will be not be worrying about future survival, regardless of their ages. Combining the monthly income and savings can help individuals to maintain a better standard of life even if their is inflation and economic unstability. Future hold uncertainity, So people should atleast have financial means to deal with it.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0

Your position is clear from the opening: you agree that saving is important for everyone, including young people, and you maintain this view in the conclusion. You address the prompt with relevant reasons, particularly economic uncertainty, rising prices and unexpected events that can interrupt employment. The examples of supporting a future family and coping after an accident help explain why savings matter. This is a well-focused response with ideas extended and supported. To strengthen it further, avoid broad claims such as “economies of the countries are now less stronger” and explain more precisely how saving benefits young people beyond future family responsibilities—for example, by helping them manage education costs or periods without work.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs present reasons, and a conclusion restates the argument. The progression from economic pressures to personal emergencies is logical, and examples generally follow the points they illustrate. You also use linking expressions such as “Thus,” “For instance” and “In conclusion.” However, some connections feel mechanical or repetitive, especially the repeated use of “So,” and “As for example” is an awkward transition. A few sentences also combine several related claims without showing their relationship clearly. Use a wider range of natural links and make each paragraph’s main point explicit before developing it; this would make the progression more flexible and polished.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “financial resources,” “inflation,” “uncontrollable factors” and “standard of life,” so the main ideas are understandable. There are also attempts to use more formal expressions, such as “unpredictable events.” However, the range and control are limited by noticeable spelling errors and inaccurate word choices or collocations: “less stronger,” “basic neccassity,” “provide ease to themselves” and “economic unstability” are not natural forms. These errors sometimes make the reader pause, even though the intended meaning is usually recoverable. Build accuracy by learning common word partnerships and checking spelling and word forms, rather than relying on phrases that sound formal but do not fit the context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “because,” “as” and “if,” and the overall meaning is generally clear. Some sentence patterns are effective, such as “Many uncontrollable factors can force anyone out of employment.” However, errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles and punctuation occur often enough to affect fluency. For example, “a person meets an accident that result” has an agreement error, while “Future hold uncertainity” lacks subject–verb agreement and an article. Capitalisation after commas is also inconsistent, as in “employment, So.” Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and verb, correct agreement, and appropriate punctuation. More accurate control of these patterns would make your complex sentences easier to follow.
