Student answer (Band 6.0)

Nowdays, it is become necessary for every individuals including the youth to collect their money and save it for the future. Personally, I encourage everyone do that for it enormus benefits.

First, saved money can help people it there somthing unpredictiable happend in the future. For example, If a member of their familly got heath problems, and need medical funding to cure him, existance of the money is something important, or they won't be able to cure him. In addition, things like universities fees require a lot of money and make many of families to take loans from bank to cover this fees, So if they prepared for it from early, it won't be a problem.

Further more, for young people saving money helps them to acheive independace and grow their financial skills in the future. To illustrate, learning to how manage their money from early age, make them enable to deal with their spending effectively. For Instance, a research find that kids who learned to save money from an ealry age. recorded to havr more financial skills in the future than other who don't. However, just saving money cann't be very effective as the people think. people should know how to invest their money, because the rewards from the investing are more than saving money.

To sum up, saving money is matter that everyone should do for it benefit, which makes us prepared for unpredictiable things like sickness, and predictiable things like university fees. Therefore, learning where to put this money and invest it is something required for more benefits.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

Your position is clear: you support saving, and the conclusion restates this view while adding that people should learn to invest. You address several relevant reasons, including unexpected medical costs, university fees and young people’s financial independence. The examples make the response relevant, and the discussion of investment adds some qualification to your argument. However, the university-fee point is explained less fully than the medical example, and the claim about research is vague: it gives no source or specific finding. To strengthen the response further, explain how each example supports your position and clarify whether investing complements saving or is an alternative to it. The main ideas are relevant, but their development is uneven.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The progression from protection against future costs to young people’s financial skills is logical, and signposts such as “First,” “Further more” and “To sum up” help identify the stages of the argument. However, some linking is mechanical, and the second body paragraph shifts from saving to investing without clearly showing how the ideas connect. The research example also ends abruptly, which interrupts the paragraph’s flow. Use fewer formulaic transitions and build clearer links between claims and examples. More precise referencing—for instance, specifying what “it” or “this money” refers to—would make the connections between sentences easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “financial skills,” “medical funding,” “loans” and “invest.” This gives you enough range to discuss the main ideas, and some choices show an attempt to be specific. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word forms are noticeable, as in “Nowdays,” “unpredictiable,” “independace” and “existance.” Several phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “collect their money,” “the rewards from the investing” and “prepared for it from early.” These choices sometimes make the reader pause, even though the intended meaning is generally recoverable. Work on accurate spelling and common collocations, and choose more precise expressions such as “build savings” or “unexpected expenses.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “if they prepared for it from early, it won't be a problem” and a sentence beginning “However.” This shows some range, but control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to understand. Examples include “it is become necessary,” “I encourage everyone do that,” and “a research find,” where verb forms or sentence patterns are faulty. There are also problems with agreement and sentence construction, as in “learning to how manage their money … make them enable.” Practise forming accurate clauses with infinitives and conditionals, and check subject–verb agreement and punctuation. Greater accuracy in these patterns would make your argument clearer.
