Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is argued that some people including young generation should save money for their future. From my perspective, it is very important for everyone to save money for future.

One of the main reason is that we should save money for future is that offers protection from financial diffiulties such as unemployment , medical emergency or economic downturns. Those who established saving cope this kind of problems. young people in particluar should understand the importancy of saving money. For instance, if people saving money, then the amount they save help them in future like in any kind of medical emergency.

The other reason is that we should saving is, it will help the youngsters to limit their expenses as, if they saving the money for future then its not be possible to do over expenses for example , if the people save their money for future then it will be beneficial for them because they cannot hunt by expensive things.

Another benificial thing for saving money is that the young will plan their future as if they want to do any business or do higher education it will help them financially for instance people want to do business or want to buy a house then they will be apply for loans from bank. Then the saving money help them to get a house or do any kind of business instead of taking loan from any bank .

In my opinion , people should save money especially the young people for their future because it will be more benificial for them in future in any sector of life like schooling of their childrens , their own dreams and goals and to do any business instead of getting loans from bank

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you agree that people, especially young people, should save for the future. You give relevant reasons, including protection from emergencies, controlling spending, and funding education or a business, and the examples about medical costs and buying a house help address the task. This is why the response covers the main parts of the question. However, some points are less fully explained: the claim that saving prevents “over expenses” is difficult to follow, and the discussion of loans does not clearly explain how savings would help someone qualify for or avoid borrowing. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation and a specific, realistic example to make the argument more convincing.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for supporting reasons, and a concluding opinion. Phrases such as “One of the main reason” and “The other reason” signal the sequence of ideas, so the reader can identify the intended points. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and linking expressions are repetitive or awkward. For example, the paragraph about limiting expenses repeats the idea of saving without clearly connecting it to the claim about spending. The final paragraph also introduces several goals at once. Use clearer topic sentences, develop one main point at a time, and use pronouns and linking phrases that make the relationship between each example and its claim explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “financial difficulties,” “economic downturns,” “medical emergency,” “higher education,” and “loans.” These choices show that you can discuss several aspects of saving. However, the range is limited and some word choices or collocations make the meaning unclear, such as “cannot hunt by expensive things” and “the importancy of saving.” There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “diffiulties,” “particluar,” and “benificial.” Aim for more precise, natural phrases and check spelling carefully. Replacing repeated references to “future” and “help” with suitable alternatives would also make the argument less repetitive.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences using clauses introduced by “if” and “as,” which gives you some variety. The main message is generally understandable, but errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction are frequent enough to make some sentences difficult to read. For example, “if people saving money” needs a finite verb, while “the amount they save help them” has a subject–verb agreement error. The opening phrase “One of the main reason is that we should save money for future is that offers…” is also structurally incomplete and confusing. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with subordinate clauses; check verb forms and agreement in each sentence.
