Student answer (Band 5.5)
In today's world, a huge proportion of individuals strongly believe that it is very crucial for everyone to save some money for future.
Money can fasilitate our life in many ways. For example, if we are feeling unwell we can buy a medicine with money, we have to pay to get our groceries, we have to pay to commute anywhere. We can not imagine our life without money.
I strongly believe that we should save some of our finances for future. I agree with the statement that saving is a very good habit. In this era, where everything is unpredictible, every individual including young generation should save some amount.
For instance, in 2020 where a pandemic was spreading rapidly around the world named COVID-19. At that time majority of people lose their job, too many small business was struggling financially. Only those people survived who has saved some amount for future. A huge proportion of people srtuggled financially, some may starved to food. In that cases of pandemic or natural disaster only saving money can save our life.
Additionally, one of everyone's basic necessity is a home a shelter. In order to buy a property of our choice, we have to save money. To buy a property to decorate it according to our own taste.
To sum up, I believe that we should save some money for future, especially our young-ones because inflation is rising everywhere.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you agree that people, including young people, should save, and you give relevant reasons involving unexpected hardship and buying a home. The COVID-19 example supports the point that savings can provide security when income is lost. However, some ideas are less fully developed than others: the home-buying paragraph repeats the need to save without explaining why this is especially important for young people, and the opening discussion of money’s everyday uses does not directly establish the case for saving. The response also contains 236 words, so it does not meet the stated 250-word minimum. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation or specific example, and add a point addressing young people in particular.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure, moving from an introduction to reasons and then a conclusion. Paragraphs generally focus on one topic, and signposts such as “For instance,” “Additionally,” and “To sum up” help the reader follow the argument. However, progression is sometimes mechanical, and connections between ideas are not always clear. The paragraph about buying a home contains two fragments beginning “In order to buy” and “To buy,” rather than a fully connected explanation. The opening paragraph also lists everyday expenses without linking them clearly to the later argument about saving. Use complete sentences to develop each paragraph, and make the relationship between examples and the main claim explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including topic-relevant terms such as “finances,” “pandemic,” “natural disaster,” and “inflation.” There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, for example “a huge proportion” and “basic necessity.” However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, including “fasilitate,” “unpredictible,” and “srtuggled.” Some expressions are awkward or imprecise, such as “starved to food” and “save our life,” which reduce naturalness. Repetition of “save money” and “pay” also limits flexibility. Build a more accurate range of collocations for financial security and emergencies, and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, and the main message is usually understandable. However, errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction are frequent enough to affect accuracy. For example, “majority of people lose their job” needs a past-tense verb and a plural noun, while “Only those people survived who has saved” has incorrect agreement and an awkward clause structure. “Too many small business was struggling” also has a number-agreement error. The home-buying paragraph includes incomplete constructions beginning “In order to buy” and “To buy.” Practise forming complete sentences and checking tense and subject–verb agreement, especially when describing past events.
