Student answer (Band 5.5)
Saving money has become an increasingly important topic in recent years. While some people believe that saving money is vital part of young life, others argue that saving money for future are not that much important, they believe that future is unpredictable so young people should focus on live there life as they want. Although both perspectives have some merit , I tend to agree with everyone, including young people should save money for their future becasue it helps them to a get a better life when they become old and helps them to reduced their unnecessary expenses.
To begin with, one of the main reasons for this view is that it helps them to live better life when they get old. This is largely because when they get old they did not have any income source which they can sepnd on necessary things. As a consequence, the money they save in young age helps them to take care of themself like buying food, paying hospital bills ect. A good example of this can be see in my neighborhood, a old couple life their they are very old aged they do not have child to take care of them but the moeny they same in young age helps them a lot to live a better life. This illustrates how saving money is important for everyone.
Another points worth considering is that habbit of saving money helps to reduce the unnecessary expenses. In particular, some times people do not know that some purchase they are doing are worthfull or not they just bought thoses items which is totally waste of money. This can have a significant effect on young poeple, as they learn about financial terms which helps them to go in their life. For instance my brother start saving money when he is 19 year old which helps him to prevent unnecessary expense, Take together, these points suggest that people start saving.
To sum up, there are reasonable arguments of saving money. However, i believe that important for everyone, including young people to save money for their future is the more appropriate.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you agree that young people and others should save, and you give two relevant reasons—financial security in old age and avoiding unnecessary spending. The examples of the older couple in your neighbourhood and your brother help make these points concrete. However, the two reasons are not developed equally: the old-age example is explained in more detail, while the point about spending ends with a broad claim about learning financial terms and an incomplete-sounding conclusion. The introduction also presents the opposing view, but the response does not examine it further. To strengthen the response, explain how saving supports future independence and give a clearer cause-and-effect explanation of how it changes spending habits. The length requirement is met; 12 words copied from the prompt were not counted.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Paragraphs generally focus on one main reason, and signposts such as “To begin with,” “Another points worth considering” and “To sum up” help readers follow the argument. However, some links are mechanical or unclear. “Take together, these points suggest that people start saving” does not clearly connect to the preceding example, and the final sentence repeats the position without fully rounding off the discussion. Referencing is occasionally difficult to follow, particularly in the description of the older couple. Use transitions that show the precise relationship between ideas, and make sure each paragraph ends by linking its example back to the main argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “income source,” “necessary things,” “hospital bills” and “unnecessary expenses.” There are also attempts at more specific language, such as “financial terms,” although this phrase is not quite suitable for the intended meaning. At this level, the main limitation is that word choice, spelling and collocation errors are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause: examples include “sepnd,” “moeny,” “worthfull,” “habbit” and “young poeple.” Phrases such as “live better life” and “take care of themself” also need more natural forms. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common collocations for saving, retirement and spending, rather than relying on repeated general words such as “helps” and “important.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a contrast in the opening (“While some people believe…”) and a cause-and-effect structure (“This is largely because…”). These attempts show some range, but errors in sentence construction and control recur. For example, “saving money is vital part” is missing an article, “saving money for future are” has a subject–verb agreement problem, and “they believe that future is unpredictable so…” joins clauses without clear punctuation. Verb forms are also inconsistent in “my brother start saving… which helps him,” while the conclusion lacks a complete grammatical structure: “I believe that important for everyone… to save money…” Review articles, agreement, tense consistency and sentence boundaries. More accurate complex sentences would make your reasoning easier to follow.
