Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

Your position is clear from the opening—“I fully agree”—and remains consistent in the conclusion. You address several relevant reasons for saving: investment in property or businesses, financial independence, emergencies, and education. These points support the task, and the examples of health costs and education expenses help make the argument relevant. This meets the task well, though some ideas are more fully addressed than others: the investment point is explained briefly, and the global example remains general rather than showing a specific outcome. To strengthen the response further, develop each main reason with a clearer explanation or a concrete example, and make the links between saving and the claimed benefits more precise.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs covering different benefits, and a conclusion that restates your position. The reader can follow the progression from investment and independence to emergencies and education. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical: “firstly,” “secondly,” “thirdly,” and “forthly” announce points rather than showing how they relate, and “moreover” and “furthermore” recur in the conclusion. Some connections are also unclear, such as “on the other hand” between education’s importance and its rising cost. Use fewer numbered transitions and connect ideas through clearer cause-and-effect links and reference words. This would make the progression smoother and less formulaic.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “financially independent,” “emergency situations,” “living expenses,” and “invest in businesses.” This gives you enough language to communicate the main ideas, but the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form, and collocation errors reduce precision. Examples include “financial asset” where a plural or more natural phrase is needed, “better future rate of return,” and “gaining personal growth.” Misspellings such as “crutial,” “indipendent,” and “assits” also affect the overall impression. Aim to learn common word partnerships for finance and education, and proofread spelling and word forms. More precise vocabulary would help express your ideas naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including a reason clause beginning “because” and a sentence explaining how savings can help during emergencies. However, the range is limited, and errors occur often enough to make some sentences awkward or difficult to process. For example, “it also make young learners” has a subject–verb agreement error, while “having a secured funds helps” has problems with article use and agreement. The sentence beginning “in sudden emergency situation” also lacks a clear grammatical structure, and several sentences run together without reliable punctuation. Practise building accurate complex sentences, checking singular and plural subjects, and separating complete ideas with full stops.
