Student answer (Band 5.0)

The information shows that is it important to save money for future including young generation. I agree with that to save your money of your future.

Firstly, to save your money is very beneficial for your future including young people. Their money will be very helpful for their coming life. Many people use their money very quickly and enjoy with friends in parties, clubs and after than they borrow money from someone for their living activities like food , clothes, rent of house, electricity bills and gas bills etc. They take stress for thier future to give someone's borrow money. It feel very ugly to accept this.

Secondly, if people know that how to save money than they will be very happy in their future. They will be completely know to respect thier money and use it for their happy life. For instance, if a person saves his money and he don't use his money unusually than they will be not able to borrow money from someone for upcoming life. To save money is very important for his and his family. Some persons don't know to save money than thet are completely bound to borrow money.

In conclusion, i completely agree with that to save money is very important for young generation and other generation to save your entire life and always be happy for their's upcoming life. In simple word that to save money is equal to save your family.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You state a clear position—“I agree”—and give relevant reasons, especially the risk of borrowing money for everyday needs and the benefit of saving for family life. However, the response addresses the topic only partially: the reasons are repeated rather than developed, and the discussion does not explain why saving is important for everyone or explore future needs such as emergencies, education, or retirement. The example about someone saving is hypothetical and does not add much specific support. The conclusion restates your view but introduces no developed insight. Also, the response is 9 words below the required minimum. To strengthen the response, explain each reason with a specific consequence or example and address the full scope of the statement.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signposted by “Firstly” and “Secondly,” and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the broad direction of your argument. However, progression within the paragraphs is limited: several sentences repeat the idea that saving prevents borrowing, and the links between claims are sometimes unclear. For example, “if people know that how to save money than they will be very happy” does not clearly show how the point follows from the previous one. Referencing also becomes confusing when you move between “a person,” “they,” and “his.” Use fewer repeated claims, connect each explanation directly to its main point, and keep pronouns consistent.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use basic topic vocabulary such as “save money,” “borrow money,” “future,” and “bills,” so the main subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, particularly “save money” and “future.” Some word choices and collocations are unnatural, including “enjoy with friends,” “living activities,” “take stress,” and “save your entire life.” Spelling errors such as “thier” and “thet” also reduce accuracy. These issues sometimes make the reader work to understand your meaning, even though the overall message can be followed. Build a wider set of precise expressions for financial planning and practise using them in natural combinations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple sentences and longer sentences with clauses, but the range is limited and errors occur frequently, sometimes making relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Examples include “The information shows that is it important,” “if people know that how to save money than,” and “he don't use his money.” These show problems with word order, conditional structure, and subject–verb agreement. Articles and sentence construction are also inconsistent, as in “for their living activities like food” and “To save your money is very beneficial.” Punctuation and capitalisation need attention, including the lowercase “i” and spacing before commas. Practise accurate simple sentence patterns first, then build longer sentences with controlled clauses.
