Student answer (Band 5.0)

It is pivotal for every individual, like teenager, to save their money for upcoming future. Although saving money is mandatory for some aspect in the life, I totally agree that invest money on business is far important than saving because it would provide more revnue for future espicially for younger communities.

On the one hand, money is an essentail part of the life and it can be very difficult to save it for some instance. We have many resposibilities at homes, like pay of bills, tuition fees of schools and other institution, and particularly allocate a lot of income on medical reports. If we put money on several services, such as to make a shop and other businesses it would generate more revenue, it helps in maintaining of life activities.

On the second hand, invest money to gain the apportunity of jobs, it would create more chances to earn many instead of saving. Every years some definets jobs advertising are advertized in our country for parents, so it provides appropriate chances to build income for future plane. For instance, in our community, generally people invest all moneys to take a good job.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

Your position is identifiable: you agree that young people should prepare financially, but argue that investing in a business or job opportunity is more important than simply saving. However, the response only partially addresses the prompt because it shifts from saving money to investing without explaining clearly how this supports the claim that everyone should save. The points about household bills, education and medical costs are relevant, but their connection to your position is not fully explained; the examples about jobs and investing are also unclear and under-developed. The response is 58 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to develop reasons and examples. Explain your degree of agreement directly, then support it with specific, clearly linked examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a basic paragraph structure, with an introduction followed by two body paragraphs, and signposts such as “On the one hand” and “On the second hand” show an attempt to organise contrasting points. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because the relationship between saving, investing, and finding a job is not made explicit. Some sentences also combine several ideas without clear links, as in the list of bills, tuition fees and medical costs. The repeated use of “it” makes references unclear, particularly in “it would generate more revenue, it helps in maintaining of life activities.” Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main point, and connect examples to that point with clearer explanations and more precise referencing.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to finance and future planning, including “revenue,” “responsibilities,” “allocate,” and “invest,” which gives the response some topic-specific range. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form and collocation errors make parts difficult to understand. Examples include “revnue,” “espicially,” “essentail,” “resposibilities,” and “apportunity.” Phrases such as “invest money on business,” “gain the apportunity of jobs,” and “future plane” are not natural or precise in this context. Build accuracy by learning common financial collocations and checking spelling and word forms. For example, use “invest in a business,” “create employment opportunities,” and “future plans.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a concession beginning “Although” and conditional structures such as “If we put money… it would generate more revenue.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in articles, verb forms, agreement and sentence construction can make meaning difficult to follow. For example, “like teenager” needs an article and plural form, while “Although saving money is mandatory for some aspect” has an unclear grammatical structure. In “Every years some definets jobs advertising are advertized,” the subject and verb do not agree, and the sentence is not formed clearly. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then add subordinate clauses while checking articles, plurals and verb agreement.
