Student answer (Band 6.0)
In today's world, financial security has become very important because of the rising cost of living and unstability in job market. I strongly agree that every individual including young generation should save money for better financial stability and for the achievement of long term goal.
There are several reasons for saving money but the one main reason is that it prepares the individuals for the unexpected expenses. It is unpridictable that life will go as we want, there can be a medical emergency that can lead people to financial stability. during unemployement or some uncertain conditions, savings can be used to pass that time. having saving can help them manage these situations without relying on loans or borrowing money from others. for instance, a young individual who saved money from his monthly income, that can help him survive the unemployment phase until he gets a new job. Therefore, developing saving habits at an early age can reduce financial stress and encourage independence.
Another good reason is that it can enable people to achieve their goals such as purchasing a house, buying a vehicle. by saving even a small amount of monthly income can help them achieve these objectives. moreover, saving from an early age helps them to achieve better funds and and can get interest on the amount saved if deposited in a bank. this can help individuals in becoming financially stable in long run.
In conclusion, I completely agree that saving money is important for people of all ages including young generation. it can prepare individuals for the unexpected financial burden and can also help them in achieving long term goals such as buying some objective things. therefore, developing a habit of saving from an early age can be a valuable step toward secure future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction—“I strongly agree”—and remains consistent in the conclusion. You address the central issue with two relevant reasons: savings can help with unexpected costs and support longer-term goals such as buying a house or vehicle. The unemployment example also gives one point practical support. This meets the task well, but some ideas are less fully developed than others: the goal-setting paragraph mainly repeats that saving helps people reach objectives, without explaining how young people might balance saving with current needs or why starting early matters beyond earning interest. To strengthen the response, extend each reason with a clearer explanation or a specific, relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting separate reasons, and a conclusion that restates your view. Signposting such as “Another good reason” and “In conclusion” helps readers follow the progression. However, some linking is mechanical, and several sentences begin with “saving” or “it,” making the connections between points less precise. The second body paragraph also moves quickly from goals to interest without clearly explaining the relationship. Use a wider range of transitions and make references explicit—for example, identify what “it” refers to—while developing each paragraph around one main idea. This would make the progression smoother and cohesion less noticeable.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “financial security,” “unexpected expenses,” “unemployment,” “financial stress,” and “independence.” These choices communicate your main ideas, and phrases such as “long-term goals” show an attempt to use topic-appropriate language. However, the range and control are uneven: some expressions are inaccurate or unnatural, including “financial stability” for the consequence of a medical emergency, “better funds,” and “buying some objective things.” There are also spelling errors such as “unstability,” “unpridictable,” and “unemployement.” Aim for more precise collocations and check spelling carefully; this will make your meaning clearer and give your vocabulary greater flexibility.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple and more developed sentence forms, including a conditional example about a young person saving from monthly income and a sentence explaining how savings can reduce stress. Most ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. For example, “by saving even a small amount of monthly income can help” lacks a clear subject, while “savings can be used to pass that time” has an unclear grammatical reference. Capitalisation and punctuation also need attention after full stops, as in “during unemployment” and “having saving.” Try varying sentence structures while checking that each sentence has a complete subject and verb, and review articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries. Greater accuracy would make the argument easier to read.
