Student answer (Band 5.5)

Nowadays, Earning a specific amount of money and proper investment and shaving for the future is very crucial for the every person, it aslo includes the younger generation as well because they will receive the benefits in their future if they will understand the importance of saving money in their early age. Let us further delve into the topic.

To commence with, I agree with this view point because future is very unpredictable and we are unware about the upcoming situations such as resources crisis and any health problems. so, we have to be ready for all kind of things reather it is in our favor or not. Moreover, I believed that we have to save 20% of money from our total income and invest it in a safe place and later it will provide profit in the future for example, buy a gold and some stable share.

In contrast, including the children in the process of saving money is a right decision, however, it is important to teach them about saving money in the early childhood. The parents should give small amount of money to their kids and allow them to take their own decission regarding the spending of the money. Also, educate them regarding investment and from this way, they can learn about it.

In recapituale it, providing education to the children's in their early age it helps them to improve their learning skills, crtitical thinking and understand ability. Also, they can get a huge benefit from including such skills and hobby of saving money for the future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you agree that saving matters for everyone, and you also address young people by recommending that parents teach children to save and make spending decisions. The points about unpredictable health or resource problems and setting aside part of one’s income are relevant. However, some ideas are asserted rather than fully explained: the suggested 20% saving rate and examples of gold or shares are not linked clearly to why this is suitable for everyone, and the final paragraph shifts towards the general benefits of education rather than directly developing the argument about future financial security. Explain how each example supports your position and develop the young people’s perspective more fully.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph supporting saving, a paragraph about teaching children, and a conclusion. Connectors such as “Moreover,” “In contrast,” and “Also” help signal relationships between points. However, some transitions are mechanical or do not accurately describe the relationship: “In contrast” introduces a related point rather than an opposing view, while “To commence with” and “In recapitulate it” sound formulaic. The conclusion also introduces learning skills and critical thinking without clearly tying them back to the main argument. Use simpler, more precise links and make each paragraph progress from a clear main idea to its explanation and example.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “unpredictable,” “investment,” “stable share,” and “critical thinking,” and the reader can generally understand your intended meaning. However, inaccurate word choice, collocation, spelling, and word forms are noticeable and sometimes make the message less clear. Examples include “shaving for the future,” “resources crisis,” “safe place,” and “understand ability”; these do not express the intended ideas naturally. There are also repeated uses of “saving money” and “future.” Build accuracy with common financial collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise vocabulary would make your examples and explanations clearer without needing unnecessarily formal expressions.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “because,” “if,” and “however,” so there is some variety in structure. However, control is uneven, and errors in sentence boundaries, agreement, articles, plurals, and verb forms sometimes make sentences difficult to follow. For example, the opening sentence joins several ideas with commas, and “the every person” and “if they will understand” show problems with article use and conditional structure. In “providing education … it helps them,” the subject is repeated, while “the children's” uses an unnecessary possessive form. Practise building shorter, complete sentences first, then add subordinate clauses while checking agreement and punctuation.
