Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is clear in the introduction and conclusion: you strongly support saving, and you give reasons related to emergencies, education and future needs. These points are relevant, but the response only partially develops the argument. For example, the claim that savings help with “kids marriage” and education is not explained, and the bus-fare example is too small to show why saving is important for everyone’s future. The discussion of savings and physical or mental health is also difficult to follow and does not clearly establish how having money regulates health. Develop two or three relevant reasons with clear explanations and specific examples, and keep each point directly connected to the question of saving for the future.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “In conclusion” show an attempt to organise ideas. However, there is no clear progression between several points, and the paragraph beginning “On the other hand” does not present a contrasting view; it continues to support saving. Some links are inaccurate or unclear, including “In the result,” while repeated transitions make the writing feel mechanical. References such as “they” and “their” also leave it uncertain who is being discussed. Organise each body paragraph around one main reason, explain it in sequence, and use linking phrases only when they accurately show the relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “financial concerns,” “upcoming days,” and “attitude and behaviour.” However, the range is limited by frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word choice or collocation, which sometimes make meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “eveyone,” “neumerous funds,” “perchase,” and “wipping”; phrases such as “save currency” and “effective in their actual life” are also unnatural in this context. Aim for precise, familiar expressions rather than forcing less suitable wording. Proofread spelling carefully and learn common combinations such as “save money,” “cover unexpected expenses,” and “pay for education.” This would make your ideas clearer and more natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use some simple and complex sentence forms, including a conditional structure in “if you are in trouble in the upcoming days,” and you attempt to connect clauses with “because” and “although.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in sentence construction, agreement, articles and verb forms. For example, “it play an essential part” lacks subject–verb agreement, while “some parents also save money … and also gave” shifts tense. In “cash can be solved all the financial concerns,” the sentence structure does not express the intended meaning. Several sentences are difficult to interpret as a result. Practise building accurate subject–verb sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check that tense and pronouns remain consistent.
