Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the opening: “I really agree,” and you give relevant reasons, including unexpected medical costs and the security savings can provide after job loss. The account of your brother’s accident is a specific example that supports your view and shows how savings can be useful in a crisis. However, the reasons are not developed equally: the point about starting a business after losing a job is introduced briefly, without explaining how savings would make this practical. The claim that saving helps in “any difficult situation” is also broad. To strengthen the response, explain each main reason more fully and connect it directly to why saving matters for young people as well as adults.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an overall sequence: you state your opinion, give a personal example, add a point about job loss, and conclude. Paragraph breaks help distinguish these stages. However, the progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow, particularly in the accident account, where several details run together. Linking expressions such as “moreover” and “to conclude” are present, but connections between ideas are often mechanical or unclear; for example, “We face accidental problems that is actually very unrealistic” does not clearly lead into the example. Use clearer topic sentences and divide the response into focused paragraphs, with each paragraph developing one reason. Check that pronouns and references clearly identify who or what you mean.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “save money,” “bank account,” “operation,” “job,” and “secure our future,” so the main message is generally understandable. There are also attempts at more specific language, such as “accidental problems” and “wise thinking.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, including “highprices,” “got troma,” and “secure our familly future.” Spelling errors such as “experiense,” “ammount,” and “reaspn” are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause. Build a more precise set of phrases for emergencies, financial security, and employment, and proofread spelling and word forms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including conditional ideas such as “if we lost our job … what we will do.” This shows an effort to express cause, consequence, and hypothetical situations. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction sometimes make meaning difficult to follow. For example, “We can takes many advantages” has an incorrect verb form, while “he is recovered his health” does not form a correct clause. Some sentences also join several ideas without clear punctuation, especially in the account of the accident. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then build longer sentences using controlled clauses and consistent tense.
