Student answer (Band 5.5)

Yes , it is important for everyone, including young people , to save money for thier future .

According to my point of view ,saving money for future, is the thing that can play a good role in the life of everyperson and i am strongly agree with this idea because when we saving money even if we start saving a little amount from our income ,at the start it will not effect our expenses but the time will come it became a great amount and can play a significant role in your life.

Some people thinks that if we save money from our income there will be some effects on our expenses and effect our lives but saving money means to save half of your money but you have to organize your salary and take a small amount of it as saving and saving little money is not bad thing but not being saving consistenly is very bad because with that you would not be able to save money properly.

Now why saving is important , life is something that we cannot predict it,so in life anything can occur in your life and now in today's materialistic world money is the only thing that you will need at every place.

The world has become so materialistic that no one care about you thats what happening with you in your life and no one will help you in your bad times so we to be prepare for our bad times .

i am witnessed of real life example from our village . once there was a faimly in our village and they were not that much rich but the man was earning enough to spend there lives properly and able to save money for their futre .and one day in his faimly his child became ill so that he has to be addmitted in the hospital and do a little surgery in order to save his life but they were unable to arrange that money on time due to which the surgery was not done on time and the child loss his life .

So for the surgery a small amount of money was required which he may saved in his five months salry but he does not do that which cost him the life of his child.

The conclusion is that money may be needed in any circumstances of your life and you have to save money from your salary no matter how small it is but do it consistely.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you strongly agree that people should save, and you give relevant reasons, including unexpected illness and the need to prepare for difficult circumstances. The village example also supports your argument and makes the consequences of having no savings concrete. However, some points are developed more fully than others. The claim that “no one will help you” is a broad generalisation, and the discussion of how to balance saving with everyday expenses could be explained more precisely. The response addresses the question, but fuller explanation of these points and a more measured treatment of the counterargument would make the argument more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: it states your view, gives reasons, presents an example, and ends with a conclusion. The example follows naturally from your point about emergencies. However, progression between ideas is sometimes unclear, and several sentences run together, making relationships harder to follow. For instance, “Now why saving is important” shifts abruptly into claims about the materialistic world, while repeated uses of “and” and “so” link too many ideas in single sentences. Paragraphing would also help distinguish your main reason, the counterargument, and the example. Use clearer topic sentences and more precise links between each claim and its supporting explanation.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “organize your salary,” “significant role,” “materialistic world,” and “circumstances.” These choices help communicate your main ideas. However, the range is limited by frequent repetition of “save,” “money,” and “life,” and several word choices or spellings are inaccurate, such as “consistenly,” “faimly,” and “futre.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “save half of your money” when you appear to mean setting aside a small portion, and “the child loss his life.” Aim for more precise collocations and vary repeated terms; this will make the argument clearer and more natural without changing its meaning.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including conditional and cause-and-effect ideas, as in “when we saving money … it became a great amount.” However, verb forms and sentence construction are often inaccurate, and some long sentences contain several clauses without clear punctuation. Examples include “I am strongly agree,” “Some people thinks,” and “he has to be addmitted,” which show problems with agreement, verb patterns, and tense. Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention. Practise building accurate sentences first, then combine them using controlled subordinate clauses. For example, separate the point about saving regularly from the explanation of how savings can grow over time.
