Student answer (Band 5.5)
It has been observed that some people believe that saving money for future is very important especially for young people. I also agree with the given statement to large extent. My inclination is elaborated in ensuing paragraphs with relevant examples. The foremost argument to justify my stand is that financial cushion is very important for all age groups. Because money management skills help against unforeseen circumstances. Moreover, it provides security during emergency situation such as job loss, medical emergency and sudden expenses. For example, during Covid 19 people who save some money feel secured than those people who have no financial security. In addition, the other reason to prove my stand is that saving money is also very crucial for young people.Because, it brings sense of responsibilty and independency. Furthermore, it also helps how to tackle hardships in their lives. For instance, if a young man save almost 10% at age 20 then age 40% these saving help to start some buisness or buy new home. They can also fullfil their dreams. To conclude this, there are many benefits of saving money. Because this skill not bring miserability but also able a man to being protected.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is clear: you agree that saving is important, and you give relevant reasons, including protection against job loss or medical costs and helping young people become independent. However, the response addresses the task only partially because these points are asserted rather than sufficiently explained or illustrated. The example about saving 10% at age 20 is relevant, but “then age 40%” makes the intended outcome unclear, and the conclusion adds little beyond repeating that saving has benefits. The response is also 54 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to develop your ideas. Explain how saving supports future choices and add a specific, clearly described example to strengthen your response.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs present separate reasons, and a conclusion closes the essay. Linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “In addition,” and “To conclude” help signal this structure. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical, with repeated formulaic phrases such as “the foremost argument” and “the other reason to prove my stand.” The standalone “Because” sentences interrupt the flow after both body-paragraph topic sentences, and the relationship between some ideas is not fully clear. For example, the move from responsibility to tackling hardships needs a more explicit connection. Use fewer stock transitions and connect each explanation directly to the claim it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “financial cushion,” “unforeseen circumstances,” “financial security,” and “independence.” These choices show an attempt to go beyond very basic wording. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or awkward, which makes parts of the message unclear: “feel secured,” “bring sense of responsibility,” and “fullfil their dreams.” There are also spelling errors, including “responsibilty,” “buisness,” and “miserability.” The phrase “age 40%” is especially confusing in the example. Aim for accurate, natural combinations and check spelling carefully; a smaller set of well-controlled expressions will communicate your ideas more effectively than ambitious but unclear phrasing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, and the overall meaning is usually understandable. However, some sentence structures are faulty, particularly the fragments beginning “Because money management skills…” and “Because, it brings…,” which should be joined to the preceding sentences. There are also errors in verb forms and sentence construction, as in “if a young man save” and “these saving help,” and the final sentence, “but also able a man to being protected,” is difficult to follow. Articles and plurals also need attention in phrases such as “during emergency situation.” Practise building complete sentences with clear subjects and verbs, and check agreement and article use. More accurate control of these patterns would make your reasoning easier to follow.
