Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is often argued that saving the money is important for everyone, including young people for the future. In my opinion,I firmly believe that saving the money is important for everyone it saved us from unexpected problems because it has the several important reasons.

To begin with, one of the main reasons why I support this view is that as we know that life is unpredictable. There are certain types of instances which usually come in life suddenly. So, you should have to be prepared well to tackle this problems, If you have enough money in yours saving, them you can easily tackle the situation without being worried. For instance, if a member of your family become ill, then you need money for the expenditures of the hospital If you have enough money then you didn't need to take tension. OR, you need money for certain circumstances which usually comes suddenly, for such purposes you need money if you have money in your saving then you do not need to take money from others.

Furthermore, another significant point to consider is that some time people also have the personal's ambition too. So, if you have adequate amount of money in your's saving, then you can take whatever you want to buy. For instance, if a person wants to buy a new home then he will need a large amount of money for this purpose which will comes from when you have enough money savings. Teenagers who save money from their early life so they have large amount of sum at the end when they want to buy something. Furthermore, saving teaches you a valuable skill, people usually are more patient who save money ,So it also teaches you available life lesson.

In conclusion, I although I believe that saving is wise habit because it offers protection in hard time , makes future plan better and it builds the responsible character.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you strongly agree that saving is important, and both body paragraphs give relevant reasons. The first explains how savings can help with unexpected events, using illness and hospital costs as an example. The second adds future purchases and the patience developed through saving. This addresses the task, but the ideas are not equally developed: the emergency example is explained more fully, while the points about buying a home and building character are asserted rather than explored. The repeated reference to having money in savings also limits the range of support. To strengthen the response, explain more specifically how saving benefits young people and develop each example with a clear consequence or detail.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “To begin with” and “Furthermore,” and a conclusion. The main ideas generally progress from protection against emergencies to personal goals and habits. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical, and several links are unclear. For example, “OR” introduces an alternative without a clear relationship to the previous example, while “Furthermore” is repeated within the second body paragraph. The long first body paragraph also combines several points, making its progression harder to follow. Use clearer paragraph-level organisation, avoid repeating the same linking words, and make references such as “this problem” or “such purposes” precise so readers can follow each point easily.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including relevant terms such as “unpredictable,” “adequate amount,” “ambition,” and “responsible character.” There are also attempts to express abstract benefits, such as saving as a “valuable skill.” However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or repetitive: “take tension” is not natural in this context, “money in your saving” is unclear, and “large amount of sum” is redundant. Repeated use of “money,” “enough,” and “saving” also restricts precision. Build a more natural range of phrases for financial planning and emergencies, and check whether each word combination is idiomatic. These improvements would make your meaning smoother and more exact.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including conditional forms such as “if you have enough money” and clauses introduced by “who” and “which.” This shows some range, but control is inconsistent, especially in longer sentences. Examples include “it saved us” where the tense and subject do not fit the intended meaning, “a member of your family become ill,” and “which will comes from when you have enough money savings.” Agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries also need attention; for instance, the hospital-cost sentence runs into the next sentence without appropriate punctuation. Practise building accurate conditional sentences and separating complete ideas with full stops. Shorter, carefully checked sentences will help you retain complexity without losing clarity.
