Student answer (Band 5.0)

Life is uncertain. And hard times come at any moment. These can be overcome with money. Situations can be handled with money. If someone does not have money at that moment, he might suffer more.

Saving money is a good habit among young people. Also, I think that saving money depends on future circumstances. Like, someone wants to pay any fees in the future or wants to buy something, e.g., a bicycle, a mobile phone. So he should save money to buy them. its also depends on one of the most factor financial stability. Someone which is rich and financial stable he donot want to save money. Futhermore we cannot provoke someone to enjoy life. we shold spend money on try different kind of foods, buy different style dresses, and visit beautiful places because life is short and it might be end at any moment. If I am talk about myself, I am financially independent , I spend all the money that my parents give me. I am very foody . Thats why I spend all money to buy food. Because I know , I will get more.

If someones income is not passive and he works on shifts . He should save some money because he can lost his job at any time . So at that momemt he can be able sustain itself with savings. Either saving money or not it depends on personal prefetrences. If someone thanks that he can be stucked somewhere just because of lack of money , he should definitely save money.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You take a broadly relevant position: saving can protect people from hardship, but you also argue that spending on enjoyable experiences is a personal choice. Examples such as saving for fees or a bicycle and having money if someone loses a job help connect your ideas to the topic. However, the extent of your agreement is not stated clearly at the outset and shifts between supporting saving and suggesting that financially secure people need not save. Several points, including the claim that life is short, are asserted rather than explained in relation to future financial security. State your position directly, then develop two or three reasons with clearer explanation and a relevant example for each.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response contains recognisable groups of related ideas: it begins with uncertainty and saving, moves to young people’s spending choices, and later discusses job loss. Basic linking words such as “Also,” “Furthermore,” and “So” help show some relationships. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because the discussion moves abruptly from saving to enjoying life and then to personal spending, without a clear introduction, developed body paragraphs, or conclusion. Several short opening statements repeat the idea that money helps in difficult situations. Organise the essay into paragraphs with one main point each, use topic sentences, and make the links between examples and your position explicit. A brief concluding paragraph should restate your view.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate basic ideas, including “financial stability,” “save money,” “income,” and “savings.” The examples of fees, a bicycle, and food also make the discussion concrete. However, the range is limited and several choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “provoke someone to enjoy life,” “income is not passive,” and “stucked somewhere.” Repetition of “money,” “save,” and “spend” also limits precision. Aim to use more natural phrases for financial situations and vary repeated terms where appropriate. For example, describe someone as having an unstable income or being able to cover essential expenses, rather than relying on unclear expressions.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

Most of your meaning can be understood, and you attempt some longer sentences using “because,” “if,” and “that.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make parts of the response difficult to read. Examples include “Someone which is rich,” “he donot want,” “If I am talk about myself,” and “he can be able sustain itself”; these show problems with relative clauses, verb forms, agreement, and infinitive patterns. Sentence fragments such as “And hard times come at any moment” also interrupt the flow. Practise building accurate complete sentences before adding complexity, and check subject–verb agreement, pronouns, verb forms, and punctuation. For instance, use “If I talk about myself” and “he can sustain himself.”
