Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address the topic by supporting saving for emergencies and explaining that young people can build financial responsibility and fund education. The examples of medical bills and a student’s salary give the response some relevant support. However, your position is not consistently clear: you say “I am agree” with saving, then “I am disagree,” without explaining precisely which part of the statement you reject. The point about inflation and low salaries in Pakistan could form a useful qualification, but it is not developed into a clear argument about whether everyone should save or how much they can realistically save. To strengthen the response, state your degree of agreement directly in the introduction and conclusion, then explain and support each main reason more fully.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an opening, two body paragraphs introduced by “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. This gives the reader some guidance. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear because several ideas are joined together without a clear relationship. For example, the first body paragraph moves from emergencies to agreement and then to an example, while the second shifts from young people’s goals to disagreement and inflation. Repeated or inaccurate linking phrases, including “On the other other hand,” also make cohesion less effective. Organise each paragraph around one main point, explain it, and then give a relevant example. Use transitions only where they accurately show the relationship between ideas.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “unexpected expenses,” “financial responsibility,” “budgeting,” “higher education,” and “inflation rate.” These terms help communicate the subject of saving. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “saving money,” “important,” and “manage the money.” Noticeable spelling and word-choice errors sometimes make the message harder to follow, such as “poeople,” “poroblems,” “acheive,” and “school fee.” Some expressions are also unnatural, including “do saving the money” and “a very important situation.” Build a more precise set of phrases for discussing savings and financial constraints, and check spelling and collocations carefully. This will make your ideas clearer without relying on repeated general wording.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a conditional example: “A person who regularly saves a small amount from their salary may be able to cover unexpected expenses.” This shows an effort to express relationships between ideas. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in basic sentence patterns, verb forms, agreement, and articles. Examples include “This teacher them financial responsibility,” “I am agree,” “many people include in many financial problems,” and “we saving the money.” Some sentences run together, making the intended meaning difficult to follow, as in the description of emergencies and bills. Practise accurate subject–verb patterns and complete sentence construction first, then use a few controlled complex forms, such as because-clauses and relative clauses. Check punctuation to separate distinct ideas.
