Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0

You state a clear position—“i strongly agree”—and give a relevant reason: savings can help people avoid borrowing and meet unexpected medical costs. However, the response addresses the task only partially. The opening says you will “discuss both point of view,” but the essay does not explain a contrasting view, and the supporting example is brief and unclear. The response also falls substantially short of the required 250 words, leaving your reasons and example underdeveloped. To strengthen your answer, explain why saving matters particularly for young people, develop the medical-emergency example, and make your degree of agreement clear throughout.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is a basic sequence: an introductory statement, your position, a reason, and an example. The phrase “for example” signals that you are moving from a general point to supporting evidence, which helps the reader follow the main idea. However, the response is not divided into clear paragraphs, and the opening’s promise to discuss both viewpoints is not followed by a contrasting point. Several ideas are crowded into one long section, so the progression is limited. Use separate paragraphs for your position, supporting reasons, and conclusion, and connect each point explicitly to the question.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “saving money,” “future,” “borrow,” and “medical issues,” so the central message is generally understandable. There are also attempts at more specific language, such as “critical medical issues.” However, the range is narrow and some choices or forms are inaccurate or unclear: “buying a loan” does not express the intended idea, and “hear treatment” makes the medical example difficult to understand. Spelling errors such as “disgree” and “lose” also reduce accuracy. Build a wider set of natural phrases for savings, debt, and emergencies, and check spelling and collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response communicates a basic position and reason, but grammatical control is inconsistent. The opening, “it is agree or disgree essay,” does not form a clear grammatical sentence, while “i strongly agree with it” is more successful. Sentence structures are mostly simple, with limited evidence of controlled complex forms. Errors in verb patterns and sentence construction appear in “i believe save money we use every time when we need,” and the example beginning “for example we face” lacks a clear, complete structure. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent. Practise forming complete sentences with a subject and verb, and use clauses such as “If people face a medical emergency, their savings can help.”
