Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is paramount for all individuals to ecominize themselves, including the young adults for better future. In my view, for a secure future people should save money in the form of insuarance plan, which provide them safety from upcoming disasters.
To begin with, putting money away provide the financial security for the future. This stashing cash will be significant help if an individual faces sudden health issues or a natural disaster. For instance during the Corona period many families faced financial issues because of their no preparedness for the future. Some people do not have families to provide them living, however nest-egging will allow them to have financial support at the old age. In addition, future financial planing in young adults will make them independent and will foster interpersonal skills. They will become responsible, panctual and can support their on education.
However, critics argue that economic planing is not necessary and we should live in the present. But they are the people who suffer the most including their families because of their ill-visioned. There are another category as well who become skinflint and do not spend money on imporant issues such as physical and mental health. They become so paranoid about upcoming events that they stop living in the present.
To conclude this, people should reserve some share of there money for the future needs. But there should be a balance between financial reserve and present day spendings. Awareness programs in communities gathering and in schools by governments provide a viable solution to educate people and young adults about financial planing to secure a better tomorrow

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear: you agree that people, including young adults, should save, while concluding that saving must be balanced with present-day spending. You address relevant reasons, including protection from health problems or disasters, support in old age, and young people’s independence. The example of families during the coronavirus period helps illustrate financial vulnerability. This meets the task well, but some points are asserted rather than fully explained: for example, the link between financial planning and “interpersonal skills” is unclear, and the opposing view is dismissed without much examination. To strengthen the response, develop fewer ideas with clearer explanations and examples, and make the connection between each reason and the importance of saving explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a coherent overall structure: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs present supporting and contrasting points, and the conclusion restates a balanced position. Signposting such as “To begin with,” “However,” and “To conclude” helps readers follow the argument. The progression is generally logical, but some links are mechanical or unclear. For instance, “There are another category as well” introduces a group without clearly connecting it to the previous criticism, while the shift from saving to interpersonal skills is abrupt. Some references, such as “This stashing cash,” are awkward and make the connection less smooth. Use more precise transitions and ensure each paragraph develops one central point in a clear sequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You show an adequate range for the topic and attempt less common expressions, including “financial security,” “nest-egging,” “skinflint,” and “viable solution.” These choices show ambition, but several are inaccurate, misspelled, or unnatural in context: “ecominize,” “insuarance plan,” “ill-visioned,” and “future financial planing.” Some informal wording, such as “stashing cash,” also sits awkwardly in an academic essay. Meaning is generally understandable, but these errors reduce precision and naturalness. Aim for accurate, conventional collocations and check spelling carefully; for example, use “save money,” “financial planning,” and “short-sighted” where appropriate. A smaller number of well-controlled topic-specific terms would be more effective than uncertain idioms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a relative clause in “people who suffer the most” and a contrast introduced by “However.” The main ideas remain understandable, but grammatical control is uneven, with errors in agreement, articles, and sentence construction. For example, “putting money away provide” needs a singular verb, and “will be significant help” needs an article. In “They will become responsible, panctual and can support their on education,” the parallel structure breaks down and the final phrase is unclear. Some sentences also join ideas without clear grammatical links. Review subject–verb agreement, articles, and parallel phrasing, then proofread each sentence to ensure its clauses are complete and connected.
