Student answer (Band 6.0)
Every generation of people in the world, including young people, should save money for their future. It is because they can use it for any financial crisis and for the fulfillment of their dreams. I fully agree with the statement.
On the one hand, in the world, you never know what will happen tomorrow. Nowadays, different kinds of diseases are happening around us. All those tests, medicines cost a huge amount of money. Sometimes in any kind of emergency situation money is most important to get out of this position. Education is expensive and near future it will become more expensive. If the parents save some money, they can use it for their child's future as well as their own medicine or treatment bills. Also, in any financial situation, they can use their savings at any moment. For example, many parents save fixed amount of money in the bank in every month for a fixed years so that after the completion of the years they get a huge amount of money. Another example is that, now people do life insurance, where they can get their savings in any major operations.
On the other hand, young people should spend less and save money from the beginning of their life. Money is a thing that you can buy anything by using it. If young people save money, they can buy the things they are dreaming of. Our parents save money to buy things not only for them but also for ourselves. For instance, people are buying their dream car, bike, or house by saving money for years. We also observe that young people buy toys, chocolate and many other things from their reserved money.
To conclude, saving money is a good habit for young people. This should be practiced from childhood, because it can help you in your worst situation and help to fulfill your dreams.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction (“I fully agree”) and remains consistent in the conclusion. You address both the value of saving for emergencies and its role in helping young people achieve goals, with relevant examples such as medical costs, education, and buying a car or house. This covers the task well, and the emergency-savings argument is supported with several details. However, some points are less fully explained: the insurance example is unclear about how it relates to savings, and the discussion of young people buying toys and chocolate does not strongly develop the case for long-term saving. To strengthen the response further, explain how each example supports your position and distinguish more clearly between saving for immediate needs and future goals.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs signposted by “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. The ideas are generally grouped sensibly, and examples help the reader follow the main points. However, progression within the paragraphs is sometimes mechanical, with repeated references to money and savings rather than clear links between each claim and its explanation. The first body paragraph moves from emergencies to education, parents’ savings, and insurance without fully clarifying how these examples connect. Some references, such as “this position” and “they,” are also not always precise. Use more explicit links between claims and examples, and make pronoun references clearer to improve cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to discuss the topic, including relevant terms such as “financial crisis,” “education,” “treatment bills,” and “life insurance.” The meaning is generally understandable, but the range is limited and several phrases are unnatural or imprecise, which keeps expression from being consistently clear and flexible. For example, “different kinds of diseases are happening around us” and “get out of this position” do not express the intended ideas naturally. “Money is a thing that you can buy anything by using it” is also awkward and repetitive. Aim for more accurate collocations and a wider range of topic-specific expressions, such as describing unexpected medical expenses or setting aside funds for long-term goals.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “If the parents save some money, they can use it…” and a relative clause in “where they can get their savings.” Most ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors occur across the response. Examples include “All those tests, medicines cost” (missing a clear grammatical link), “in every month for a fixed years,” and “young people buy the things they are dreaming of.” There are also issues with articles, plurals, and prepositions, as in “in near future.” Work on forming accurate noun phrases and checking agreement and verb patterns. More reliable control of these structures would make your varied sentences clearer.
