Student answer (Band 6.0)
We are living in the era where everything is possible and we do not know about tomorrrow so we should be ready to face everything that can happen or not. It is often argued that, it is crucial for every individuals(younger or elders) that they should save finances for the upcoming events that are especially unknown. I completely agree with this point of view, because i think saving money provides you financial freedom for your future and it also helps to fulfill the desired goal in the near future. while most people thinks that young people should enjoy their life by spending money on what they want instead of securing it for future.
One of the main reasons of my view is that securing money for the future can provide freedom of finances. This is largely because saved money can provide you with food and shelter in the future. For example, if a young person who is studying and doing part-time job and he saves his money for the future, now he seems more relaxed because he know that he can survive for next 5 years with his savings even if he lose his job. As a result, those people who save their money can enjoy their life more.
Another reason is that saving money for future is a good practice to buy anything that is expensive and individual can't buy it once. This primarily because, people with low income are not able to buy desired things at once so they can save every month till they complete the required amount. A clear example of this is, one of my friend want to buy the PLAY STATION 5 to play games but his income is not enough, so he decided to save every month and recently he made it.
While some people argue that young people should spend on what they want because they can spend money on the items they like so this can bring joy instead of saving money. However, i believe that everybody should save money for their future because they can use it for buying something that they really wants and it also provides them with the secure future.
In conclusion, although some people think that young people should spend their money to avail all the facilities instead of saving. I believe that it is important for everyone to save money for thier future. This is because it provides the financial freedom and also allow individual to buy their dreams in near future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction: “I completely agree,” and the conclusion maintains this view. You address the opposing idea that young people should spend money to enjoy life, then explain two relevant benefits of saving: financial security and being able to afford expensive purchases. The examples of a student saving in case of unemployment and a friend buying a PlayStation make the points concrete. However, the first example’s claim that savings could support someone for five years is not explained, and the discussion focuses more on personal purchases than broader future needs. To strengthen the response, develop the reasons more fully and connect them explicitly to long-term responsibilities such as education, housing, or emergencies.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two supporting paragraphs, a paragraph acknowledging the opposing view, and a conclusion. The progression from financial security to saving for a purchase is easy to follow, and signposts such as “One of the main reasons,” “Another reason,” and “In conclusion” help guide the reader. This gives the essay a coherent arrangement, though some linking is mechanical and a few references are unclear. For example, “now he seems more relaxed” shifts awkwardly from a hypothetical situation to the present, while “this” in “this can bring joy” could refer more precisely to spending or to the items. Use a wider range of natural transitions and make pronoun references explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate your ideas, including “financial freedom,” “savings,” “low income,” and “secure future.” There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “crucial” and “upcoming events.” However, the range is limited by repeated use of “save,” “future,” and “money,” and several expressions are unnatural or imprecise, including “freedom of finances,” “buy their dreams,” and “avail all the facilities.” Spelling and word-form slips such as “tomorrrow,” “thier,” and “individuals” in the opening also reduce accuracy. Build a broader set of natural collocations for financial planning and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, using clauses with “because,” “if,” and “although” to explain reasons and examples. The main ideas remain understandable, but errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries occur across the response. For instance, “most people thinks” should be “most people think,” and “he know” should be “he knows.” In “one of my friend want,” both the plural noun and verb form need correction (“friends wants” or, more naturally, “a friend wants”). Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in lowercase “i” and the comma after “argued.” Review subject–verb agreement and proofread each sentence, especially longer ones with several clauses.
