Student answer (Band 5.5)

first of all , i have two point of view before taking about our main topic .The first point is ,I saw lost of people doing much in their life to make them selves strong as they gona live here for ever .But one the other hand some people do nothig as they say this world is temprary .Know i totally agree with this .The decision of mine on being agree with it have lots of reasons in my mind. But the four main reasons are mention below .

Starting with the main reason which most of peoplehave behind saving money .The money we save will make us deal with some critical problems in our lives in furture .Such pronlems can be some sort of accident or in case of not having any job .

Next reason is ,it can make us help outer people in their tough time .While they struggle through some pronlems .Those problem can make them helpless in front of other people. So we can be able to help them by solving their issue if the money can solve it .

It can change our life style from where we or to what we thought .For example if we save money by having a vision in our mind to change our surronding .So saving money worthes by doing it .

At last saving money make us comfortable and easy .Because we know it will help us in any problem in future so we may feel relaxed about different things those heppen in life .

The conculsion which we make on the base of the reason is saving money for future make us strong in every point of view

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear by the end of the introduction: “i totally agree,” and the response gives relevant reasons, including preparing for unemployment or accidents, helping others, and feeling more secure. These points show an understanding of the topic. However, the task is only partly developed: the reasons are mostly stated rather than explained with specific examples or detail. For instance, the point about changing your lifestyle and surroundings is difficult to understand, and the conclusion simply repeats that saving makes people “strong.” Develop fewer reasons more fully, explain how saving helps in a particular situation, and maintain a clear, direct position throughout.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for reasons, and a concluding sentence. Sequencing phrases such as “Starting with,” “Next reason,” and “At last” help signal the order of points. However, progression is limited because the paragraphs follow a repetitive list pattern, and some links are unclear or mechanically used. For example, “While they struggle through some pronlems” is an incomplete thought, while “For example if we save money…” does not clearly connect the example to the claim. Use complete topic sentences, connect each explanation to its main point, and make references such as “they” and “it” unmistakably clear.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “save money,” “critical problems,” “accident,” and “unemployed” (expressed as “not having any job”), so the main ideas can generally be understood. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make the writing difficult to follow at points: “lost” for “lots,” “temprary,” “surronding,” and “worthes” are examples. Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “outer people” and “make us strong in every point of view.” Build a more accurate set of expressions for financial security and future planning, and check spelling and collocations carefully. More precise vocabulary would make your reasons clearer and less repetitive.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with clauses, for example, “Because we know it will help us in any problem in future so we may feel relaxed.” However, the range is limited, and attempts to combine ideas often produce faulty sentence structures. The opening contains fragments and unclear construction (“i have two point of view before taking about our main topic”), and several sentences lack correct agreement or verb forms, as in “saving money make us comfortable.” Punctuation and capitalisation are also inconsistent. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses using clear connectors; check subject–verb agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries during revision.
