Student answer (Band 6.0)
Saving money for future is essential for everyone including young generation. I completely agree with this view because it can help you in uncertain difficult situations and young people can share their parents burden of responsibilities.
In this era, the value of money is decreasing day by day and the expenditures are increasing at the same time. It is very important for everyone to save money for their better future. For example, if people make the habit of saving money it will eventually benefit them in their future. Everyone should try to save as much as they can, even a penny a day will create positive effect. When any uncertain situation heppened in their lives such as medical emergency or loss in the business, they can use their savings in that crucial time.
Moreover, the youth can create positive impact on society by saving money. They can also help their parents by reducing burden on them. If young people have their own savings, they can buy their favourite things themselves. Subsequently, this habit will create sense of responsibility in them and they can also manage their money in the best possible way. For instance, if one student in class is not spending his money on useless things and saving it, he will be able to get his favourite bicycle. This will influence other students as well. Many families can live better life in this way.
In conclusion, young people can use their savings to fullfil their wants by themselves and in this way they can make their parents proud and less worry. If person has his savings, he can perform well in many difficult and emergency situations. In this era, saving money is very necessary for everyone including youth to have better future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction: you completely agree, and you address both general saving and the role of young people. The examples of using savings during a medical emergency or business loss, and of a student saving for a bicycle, make the response relevant and help explain your reasons. The conclusion also returns to the main view. However, some points are more fully addressed than others: the claim that young people can reduce their parents’ burden is mentioned but not explained in much detail, and the bicycle example focuses more on buying a personal item than on preparing for the future. Develop these links and explain more precisely how saving benefits young people over time.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting separate reasons, and a conclusion. The progression from financial emergencies to young people’s responsibility is easy to follow, and signposts such as “Moreover,” “For example,” and “In conclusion” help guide the reader. This gives the essay a coherent arrangement. At times, however, linking is somewhat mechanical, and some references are unclear: “this habit” could refer to saving or managing money, while “in this way” in the final paragraph does not specify which benefit is meant. The ideas within the second body paragraph also move quickly from helping parents to buying a bicycle and influencing classmates. Use clearer references and explain the connection between these points to make progression more flexible.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including relevant terms such as “medical emergency,” “savings,” “responsibility,” and “expenditures.” There are also attempts at more specific phrasing, such as “crucial time” and “positive impact on society.” However, word choice and collocation are noticeably uneven, which limits precision: “share their parents burden,” “create positive effect,” and “live better life” are not natural combinations. “Useless things” is also informal and vague for this essay. Spelling errors such as “heppened” and “fullfil” further affect accuracy. Aim to learn common word partnerships and check spelling; more precise choices would make your argument sound clearer and more academic.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use both simple sentences and some longer structures, including conditional forms such as “if people make the habit of saving money…” and a relative clause in “situations such as medical emergency or loss in the business.” The main meaning is generally understandable, but errors in articles, agreement, and sentence construction remain noticeable. For example, “Saving money for future” needs an article, “even a penny a day will create positive effect” is missing an article, and “When any uncertain situation happened…” is not a complete, well-formed clause. There are also awkward constructions such as “make their parents proud and less worry.” Review article use and practise building accurate conditional and time clauses. Greater control of these structures would improve clarity.
