Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear in the opening: “I strongly agree,” and you give relevant reasons, including saving for family needs, education, insurance, and health. These examples show an attempt to explain why saving matters. However, the response only partly addresses the central claim that everyone, including young people, should save for their future. Much of the discussion shifts to young people earning more, being health-conscious, or spending on insurance, without clearly explaining how these points support the need to save. The comparison with older people and the final reference to internet knowledge are also not developed. To strengthen the response, explain the future benefits of saving directly and extend each main reason with a clear example or consequence.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has an introduction, several body paragraphs, and a conclusion, and signposts such as “Secondly” and “In conclusion” help readers recognise the stages of your answer. However, the overall progression is not consistently clear: the first body paragraph moves from education and employment to family goals, while the next combines enthusiasm, health, insurance, and spending on fitness. Some links between ideas are difficult to follow, and the paragraph about older people appears briefly without being connected to the main argument. The conclusion repeats general points rather than bringing the reasons together. Organise each body paragraph around one clear reason, then use linking phrases to show how its example supports your position.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “medical insurance,” “term insurance,” “personal savings,” and “mental health,” which helps communicate the subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “put a side their money,” “achieve particular results,” and “enhance physical work.” Spelling errors, including “concious,” “thier,” “proffessional,” and “efficiancy,” also reduce accuracy. Some expressions, such as “as an epitome,” do not fit the intended meaning. Build a more reliable set of phrases for saving and future planning, and check spelling and collocations. Prefer precise wording such as “set money aside” and “meet future expenses.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “that” and “as,” but control is inconsistent. Errors in articles, agreement, verb forms, and sentence construction occur frequently and sometimes make relationships between ideas hard to understand. For example, “Money is important part” needs an article, and “youngster play a significant role” has a subject–verb agreement problem. The sentence beginning “Nowadays, Younger people are mostly educated…” is difficult to interpret because its clauses are not joined in a clear grammatical structure. There are also inconsistent capital letters after full stops and commas. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time, checking articles, verb agreement, and punctuation.
