Student answer (Band 6.0)

It is essential and significant for every individual all around the world specially for youngsters to save money for their secure future. I completely agree with the statement because savings can save us from many ups and downs of our life.

At the beginning, I will explain the fact that how savings could halp us? Suppose if an individual lose his job saving support him finantially untill he finds a new job or new way to sourse of income. I have seen many live examples around me where savings literally save people. If youngsters start to save money instead of spending it like water they can secure a better future for themselves such as they can buy a car, a house or they can even invest in a land mark.

Secondly, as we know that life is totally unpredictable and we don't know at which step of life we need money to save the life of our loved ones. Such as a sudden diagnose of any illness that requires alot of money for the cure like cancer, brain tumor, sudden accedents etc. Some people like to have saving accounts for their chilldern after their birth for a better future so that they could use that money to fund their studies and further relevant funds. Savings could save a person from taking any type of lone.

In conclusion, I would say it is not only important but essential to save money for future. Spacially for youngsters because they can secure their future also they can buy anything with their savings.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

Your position is clear from the introduction (“I completely agree”) and remains consistent in the conclusion. You address the importance of saving with relevant reasons: financial support after job loss, emergencies involving illness or accidents, and funding children’s education. These examples show a sound response to the task. The discussion also begins to explain how savings help, particularly in the job-loss example. However, some points are asserted rather than fully developed: the list of purchases such as a car, house, or land does not explain why these are especially important for young people, and the point about avoiding loans is not expanded. To strengthen the response, explain the consequences of each example and connect them more explicitly to future security.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The essay has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting reasons, and a conclusion that restates your view. The sequence from financial stability to emergencies and education is generally logical, and signposts such as “Secondly” help readers follow the argument. However, some linking is mechanical, with repeated use of “such as,” and the opening phrase “At the beginning” does not clearly signal the specific point that follows. A few sentences also contain several ideas joined together, making the progression less smooth—for example, the sentence about children’s savings moves from opening an account to education and other funds. Use clearer topic sentences and divide or connect related ideas more precisely to make cohesion more flexible.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “financially,” “unpredictable,” “savings accounts,” and “secure their future.” This gives you enough range to communicate the main ideas, and the reader can generally understand your examples. However, several spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural combinations reduce accuracy, including “halp,” “finantially,” “sourse of income,” “save money like water,” and “invest in a land mark.” Some wording is also repetitive, especially “save” and “future.” Aim for accurate spelling and more natural collocations, and choose precise terms for financial situations. For instance, “source of income” and “invest in land” express your intended meanings more clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including conditional and relative clauses, as in “If youngsters start to save money…” and “a sudden diagnose of any illness that requires…”. The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but some grammatical errors remain. For example, “if an individual lose his job saving support him” needs correct subject–verb agreement and clearer clause structure; “we don't know at which step of life we need money” is an awkwardly formed clause; and “they can secure their future also they can buy anything” needs punctuation or a linking conjunction. There are also errors with articles and plural forms. Practise building accurate conditional sentences and separating independent clauses, while retaining your attempts at complex structures.
