Student answer (Band 5.5)

This is very important topic to discuss. Money is very important and plays a great role nowadays. It is often argued that everyone, including young people, should save money for their future. I strongly agree with this statement because saving money helps people deal with unexpected expenses and achieve their future goals

Firstly, in financial security saved money helps people to face unexpected difficulties as medical bills and education costs. By saving money a man can stay as same because they solves their issue by the saved money. The people are not destroy. Money is important in this modern era because everything is buying from money. If a person goes through some diease suddenly then he will use his saved money.

Secondly, saved money is also important to achieve our future goals. It helps people to achieve their long term goals. Some people want to make their dream house in future and some others want to study abroad. So they all fulfill their dreams by saving money earliear. The peoples who want to achieve something big in life they started saving from earliear. If they have some savings so they would achieve whatever they want.

In conclusion, I think so that every person must save something for their future. Because it helps people to face life difficulties easily they don't feel more loss because they have saving money. As well as, if they wished to make their houses or want to study abroad so they will handled easily. So, personally i also agree by this because saved money save us from many big loses.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear from the introduction: “I strongly agree,” and the conclusion restates that everyone should save. You address the prompt with two relevant reasons—preparing for unexpected costs and working towards future goals—and examples such as medical bills, a dream house, and studying abroad. This gives the response a relevant, complete overall direction. However, the support is uneven: the first reason is repeated in several forms rather than explained in depth, and the second would be stronger with a specific example of how regular saving helps someone reach a goal. Explain the benefits for young people in particular, since they are explicitly mentioned in the statement, and develop each reason with clearer cause-and-effect detail.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The essay has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signposted by “Firstly” and “Secondly,” and a conclusion. The sequence from financial security to future goals is logical, and the reader can follow your main argument. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical, and several sentences repeat the same point, especially the claims that savings help people achieve goals. Some references are also unclear, as in “they solves their issue” and “they all fulfill their dreams,” where the pronouns do not connect smoothly to a precise subject. Improve progression by giving each paragraph one main claim, then adding explanation and an example without restating the claim. Use linking phrases selectively and make references explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “financial security,” “unexpected difficulties,” “medical bills,” “long term goals,” and “study abroad.” These choices show awareness of the subject, but the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, particularly “important,” “saving money,” and “future goals.” Some word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “everything is buying from money,” “make their dream house,” and “saved money save us.” Spelling errors such as “diease,” “earliear,” and “loses” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise range of financial expressions and check spelling; for example, use “cover expenses,” “save towards a goal,” and “financial losses.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, including conditional forms such as “If a person goes through… then he will use his saved money” and “If they have some savings so they would achieve…”. This shows an effort to vary sentence patterns, but control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make the meaning harder to follow. Examples include “they solves their issue,” “The people are not destroy,” and “they will handled easily,” which contain problems with agreement, verb forms, or sentence construction. Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “This is very important topic” and the opening of the conclusion with “Because.” Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and complete conditional sentences, then proofread each sentence for a clear subject and correctly formed verb.
