Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, many people regardless of their age and social status tend to think in advance of what their future will be, especially when it comes to financial stability. I immensely support to this notion because it is imperative to attain financial freedom and independence as young as possible.
Lots of people today start planning to stabilize their career and source of income just to be safe from any unwanted financial burdens in the future. For instance, the number of people getting insurances is getting higher every year, and mostly are from young demographics. This proves that young generations have realized earlier the need of being insured in times of crisis down the line.
Moreover, having good finances means freed someone from being dependent to their family. Being stable in life enable people to do whatever they want as long as they know their limitations. For example, most people start moving out from their parents' home as they start earning their own money.
In a capsule, saving up money for the future can indeed make people to live a more desirable life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is clear: you strongly support saving, and the response stays relevant to the question. You give two reasons—protection from future financial burdens and greater independence from family—and include examples about insurance and moving out. However, these points are only briefly explained, and the insurance example concerns protection rather than saving money directly. The response therefore addresses the task only partially, with ideas that remain limited and under-developed. It also contains 181 words, below the required 250, so there is not enough space to develop your reasoning fully. To strengthen the response, explain why saving is important for young people specifically, develop each reason with a clear cause-and-effect explanation, and add a relevant example of saving toward a future goal or emergency.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs present separate reasons, and a concluding sentence restates the main idea. Linking expressions such as “Moreover” and “For instance” help readers follow the progression, and the examples are placed alongside the points they support. This coherent structure meets the lower-band expectations and shows some control of organisation. To make the progression more fully developed, connect each example explicitly to the claim about saving, rather than leaving the reader to infer the link—for example, explain how insurance relates to setting money aside. The conclusion is also very brief; summarising both reasons would give the essay a more complete sense of closure.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.5
You use an adequate range of topic-related vocabulary, including “financial stability,” “financial burdens,” “financial freedom,” and “independent,” and the meaning is generally clear. There are also attempts at less common phrasing, such as “down the line” and “social status.” However, some choices are inaccurate or unnatural: “I immensely support to this notion,” “source of income,” and “In a capsule” do not express the intended ideas naturally. “Freed someone from being dependent” is also an awkward collocation. These slips do not prevent understanding, but they limit precision and naturalness. Aim for conventional academic collocations and check whether each phrase fits its context; for example, use “strongly support this view” and “in conclusion.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and more complex sentence forms, including a subordinate clause in “as long as they know their limitations” and a purpose clause in “just to be safe from any unwanted financial burdens.” Most sentences communicate their main meaning, and punctuation is generally manageable. Some grammatical errors remain, however: “having good finances means freed someone” needs a grammatical verb construction, while “Being stable in life enable people” has a subject–verb agreement error. The phrase “dependent to their family” also uses an incorrect preposition within the grammatical pattern. These errors rarely obstruct the message, which is consistent with this level. Review agreement with gerund subjects, verb forms after “means,” and common dependent-on patterns.
