Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is often argued that, everyone icluding young people that it is crucial for them to save money for thier future. I completely agree with this view because saving money for thier coming years help them to improve thier dreams and also for medical traits.
The main reasons, why i agree is that saving money for everyone including young people, assist them to acheive thier dreams without need ask formoney from any one. For exemple from my own experience, when my sister was finiched her studies at the university at she don't found an umployment with her diploma but she worked in the restaurent and she saved the money for 4 years and last years with she traveled to italy with this money. Therefore travling to another country was her dream.
Another important reason why i beleive this statment, is that we don't know what will happend in the future, let me give you an exemple with my grandfather who saved his money for many years and in 2023 he was sick and he was obligated to travel and trait his malady aboard. As a result the money that he saved helped him.
In conclussion, i completely agree that it is important for everyone, including young people , to save money for thier future mainly becauce its will help them to improve thier future and acheive thier dreams furthermore as we don't know what will hapen in our uncoming years like we will be sick as a result the money that we will save facilate for medical traits.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you completely agree, and you give two relevant reasons—saving can help people pursue goals and meet unexpected medical costs. The examples about your sister’s trip to Italy and your grandfather’s treatment make the response personal and relevant. However, the ideas are only partly developed: explain more clearly how saving supports young people’s future plans, and give more detail about the financial challenge your grandfather faced. The conclusion repeats the main points rather than adding a final insight. The response contains 244 words, so it is 6 words below the 250-word minimum; the 12 words copied from the prompt are not counted. Add relevant explanation rather than padding to meet the requirement.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting separate reasons, and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the overall argument. You also use signposting such as “Another important reason” and “As a result.” However, progression within sentences and between ideas is sometimes unclear or mechanical. For example, “The main reasons, why i agree is that…” is difficult to follow, and the sentence about your sister’s studies, employment, saving, and travel contains several ideas without clear connections. Some linking phrases, including “Therefore” and “As a result,” repeat the same cause-and-effect function. Use clearer sentence boundaries and connect each example explicitly to the reason it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “save money,” “dream,” “future,” and “medical” treatment. The examples also allow you to express specific situations rather than relying entirely on general statements. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make the writing less clear, such as “acheive,” “finiched,” “umployment,” and “trait.” Some expressions are not natural in this context, including “improve their dreams” and “medical traits.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise terms such as “achieve a goal,” “find employment,” and “receive medical treatment” would make your meaning clearer and more appropriate for an academic essay.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including explanations with “because” and examples introduced by “for example.” This shows an effort to connect reasons and supporting details. However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty, so the reader sometimes has to work to understand the meaning. For instance, “saving money … assist them” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “she don’t found an employment” combines incorrect auxiliary and verb forms. The sentence beginning “For example from my own experience” also lacks clear punctuation and sentence structure. Practise accurate past-tense forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries, then build longer sentences from correctly formed clauses.
