Student answer (Band 6.0)

Nowadays, it is crucial for all, espically for young individuals as well, to save money for their upcoming life. I strongly agree with this statment because saving money for future could leads better health care, better education, and also for further economic support.

On the one hand, saving money for future as espically as young people is very significant in terms of health care. As we know the expenditures of things related to health is going up day by day such as, healthy foods, and it also involved treatments of a diseases. For exapmple, if a person does not afford nutrational foods, because lack of money. Eventually his /her body will be weaken, as a result he/ she will gets ill, if they do not afford the expanditure of quality treatment, so it could br life threatening. As a result saving money for the future could be key aspect in maintaning good quality health care.

On the other hand, for young people saving money for the future is very significant to pursue best quality education. Education is very effective in our era, therefore, best education could requires money to fullfill several aspects such as institutional fee, and also accommodation. for instance, getting admission in harvard is could be very expensive, so by saving money for the future could leads a person to pursue a desirable education. However, from economic point of view, a person should save money for future, beacuse future is unpredictable may be today a person is able to afford his/ her expenditure. Which might not be the case in future, so saving money for the future will provide economic support in case of financial hardships.

To conclude, saving money espically for the young people could leads a person to several advantages such as afforadble health care, pursunig quality education, and also economic support in hard times.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

Your position is clear from the introduction (“I strongly agree”) and remains consistent in the conclusion. You address the topic with relevant reasons: saving can help meet healthcare costs, fund education, and provide support during financial hardship. The Harvard example makes the education point more concrete. This response fully covers the task and shows some development, but the support is uneven: the healthcare paragraph relies on a hypothetical chain of consequences, while the economic-support point is brief and receives little specific illustration. To strengthen the argument further, explain how young people can build savings over time and develop each reason with a clearer example or consequence.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. The progression from healthcare to education and then financial security is generally logical, and signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “To conclude” help readers follow the argument. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical, with repeated use of “saving money for the future” and “as a result.” Some links within sentences are unclear, particularly in the healthcare example, where several consequences are joined together. The second body paragraph also combines education and economic security, making its focus less controlled. Use clearer topic sentences and divide or connect ideas more precisely.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “health care,” “institutional fee,” “accommodation,” “financial hardships,” and “economic support.” These choices show an attempt to discuss the topic beyond very basic terms. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word forms are noticeable, including “espically,” “statment,” “nutrational,” “exapmple,” and “afforadble.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “pursue best quality education” and “expenditures of things related to health.” These errors sometimes make the reader pause, although the main meaning is usually recoverable. Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully; for example, use “healthcare costs” and “access high-quality education.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “if a person does not afford…” and a contrast introduced by “However.” This gives the response some structural variety. However, many sentences contain errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction. Examples include “saving money … could leads,” “best education could requires,” and “a person … will gets ill.” The healthcare example also contains a run-on structure that makes the relationship between ideas difficult to follow. These recurring errors can cause difficulty for the reader, so focus first on accurate subject–verb agreement and modal patterns: after “could,” use the base verb, as in “could lead” or “could require.”
