Student answer (Band 6.0)
This topic is under debate that young people should save money for their coming days or should they spent what they have or live a lavish life for their present days without concerning about their future.
Well, everyone has his own prospective but in my point of view everyone should have savings which can be used for their future obstacles. If a person has job now he has no gurrantee that this job will remain in his hand untill he wants . So, if boss fires an employee he can only survive if he has savings otherwise he have to live a hand to mouth life until he resecure his job.
Furthermore, it cannot be predicted what is going to be happen in future. There are several reasons you should have savings because in this modern era everyone is hypocrite when you face hardships no one is ready to help you the thing which relax you is your saving. For instance i know one of my friend who is older now and is living a poor life, he always tells us now that when he was young he was not fragile he spent a lot on his friends, family and parties and everyone take care of him. But now he is facing a lot of troubes just because he has not any savings and he is not able to do a job now.
In a nutshell, I strongly beleive that everyone shoud have enough savings which can be used for their future specially youngs becaue they had no exoenses as elders do.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear: you strongly agree that people, especially young people, should save for the future. You support this with relevant reasons, including possible job loss and the difficulty of coping with hardship without savings. The story about your older friend also gives a concrete example. This meets the task well, and the response shows some development beyond simply stating an opinion. However, the discussion is uneven: the job-loss point is brief, and the final claim that young people have fewer expenses than older people is introduced without explanation or support. To strengthen the response further, develop this point and explain more precisely how saving benefits young people over time, while avoiding broad claims such as “everyone is hypocrite.”
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. The ideas generally progress from the need for savings to examples of future hardship, and signposts such as “Furthermore,” “For instance,” and “In a nutshell” help show the stages of the argument. However, some links feel mechanical, and the first paragraph’s question-like contrast is not clearly connected to the position that follows. Within the second body paragraph, the move from general claims about people’s behaviour to your friend’s story could be made more explicit. The conclusion also adds a new reason about young people’s expenses rather than simply drawing together the main points. Use clearer links between each claim and its supporting explanation.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main argument and attempt some less common expressions, including “hardships,” “survive,” and “lavish life.” These choices help convey the topic of financial security. However, several inaccurate or unnatural choices reduce precision, such as “coming days,” “future obstacles,” “resecure his job,” and “everyone is hypocrite.” Spelling errors, including “gurrantee,” “troubes,” and “beleive,” are also noticeable. Some phrases are understandable but do not express the intended idea naturally, which makes the reader work harder in places. Build a more reliable range of collocations for discussing saving and financial security, and proofread spelling and word forms so that your vocabulary supports rather than distracts from your argument.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “if a person has job now” and a longer explanation beginning “because in this modern era.” This shows some range, and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, errors occur across verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction. For example, “should they spent” needs a base verb after “should,” while “he have to live” has incorrect subject–verb agreement. The sentence “There are several reasons you should have savings because…” is also awkwardly constructed, and “what is going to be happen” uses an incorrect verb pattern. Practise building accurate conditional sentences and checking each clause for a clear subject and correctly formed verb; this will make your ideas easier to follow.
