Student answer (Band 4.5)

In today's world everyone, includes Gen-Z is compulsary to save their money for their next future.I largely agree with this view because it offers flexibility and access to a wide range of resources.

There are several things, why it is very impotant to save money for the future life. If we take a look on young people, now there parents are here to support and fulfill there each and every needs. When any children asks to his parents that i want this thing, then he get it because there parents are live now. For example, in today's world every young boy or girl are lyies on their parents and their young siblings, they don't have any fear. Now, they feel free about their next future. But after when he or she are gets old and they don't survive on their relatives, then what they can do.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You state a clear general position in the opening—“I largely agree”—and identify saving as useful for future independence. However, the response addresses the question only minimally: it gives one main line of reasoning about young people relying on parents, but does not explain in detail how savings help later in life or provide a relevant, developed example. The final sentence, “Furthermore, everyone thinks about their next life,” introduces no supporting point and leaves the argument unfinished. The response is also 97 words below the required minimum, which limits the opportunity to develop your reasons. To strengthen this, explain specific benefits such as covering emergencies or education costs, and support each with a clear example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is a basic attempt to organise the response: an opening gives your view, and “Furthermore” signals a further point. The paragraph about parental support also follows a recognisable sequence from young people’s current dependence to their future needs. However, the overall progression is incomplete because the second point is only a fragment and the essay ends without a conclusion. Some links are unclear, particularly “But after when he or she are gets old,” which makes the transition difficult to follow. The repeated references to “next future” and “future life” do not create clear connections between distinct ideas. Use separate paragraphs for each reason, connect each claim to its explanation, and finish by restating your position.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use a small range of topic-related vocabulary, including “save their money,” “support,” “fulfill,” and “relatives,” so the central subject is generally recognisable. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or unnatural choices make the message harder to understand. “Compulsary” appears to mean necessary, while “next future” is not a natural expression; “lyies on” also obscures the intended meaning of relying on parents. Repetition of “future” and “young” further restricts variety. Aim for precise phrases such as “be financially independent,” “meet essential expenses,” and “build savings,” and check spelling and collocations. This would let you express the same ideas more clearly and develop them with more appropriate vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a conditional-style example beginning “When any children asks his parents…”. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in agreement, verb forms, pronouns, and sentence construction frequently make the reader work to understand the meaning. For example, “everyone, includes Gen-Z is” has an incorrect verb pattern, while “they don’t survive on their relatives” and “he or she are gets old” contain faulty structures. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in the lowercase “i” and the missing space after the opening sentence’s full stop. Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns and shorter complete sentences first, then add complex clauses once their grammar is secure.
